Hm. I may have to switch from 'Medium' to 'High' trajectory and see how that works for me. I was just concerned about wind with that setting.

I like how I'm playing now, but I can always be a little better, and get up there with Daniel My Brother (kodiak)

I think I was normal trajectory for 1-2 rounds when season ticket release dropped. Quickly moved to high trajectory and never looked back. Well minus the crazy,live weather glitched dailies we had.

Sacrifice some yardage into the wind and have more to factor in on cross winds, but with the wind all makes up for it.

I was on during that as well, it was fun to hear.

Me and Koolie G were kinda playing along with each other, unintentionally, and when that white line flies by in the middle of your backstroke it can really mess with you concentration. I had to stop my swing a couple times. Had a birdie attempt to tie him on 18, ended up 3 putting for a bogey.

I think muirfield is just a hard course I struggled at +2. As for the weekly, after the **** show of a 3rd round where I +10 hole 13 bringing me E for the tournament, I went out and shot -6 in the final round. So I'm Hoping I salvaged a mid field score. I do like how some courses have teeth and frustrate you to get below par and others surprise you when you get in a groove. Still a great game. Just wish H2H was working right. I missed those stroke simultaneous 4somes.

I was ticked off I missed my birdie putt on 18 cause I knew you were gonna catch me, lol. We both bogeyed the same hole on the front and I figured we were in for a long day. We both turned it around after that though and ended up shooting decent.

I agree that white line zooming through right when you are putting or swinging can be distracting. I like playing with people, but I need to get used to that.

It's very simple:

Cap out at 70 on all attributes. Don't increase any attributes unless scoring under par.
**for each stroke under par, increase attribute by 5.
**for each stroke over par, decrease attribute by 5.
**for each round in double digits over par, decrease Accuracy or Power by 5.

I go a bit further and keep track of my stats in terms of driving, approach, recovery and putting.

This makes things a lot of fun, because I'm only as good as my worst shot - and I strive very hard to score well so I can increase my attributes - and that way there is a penalty suffered if I don't set forth.

I think doing this has helped me enjoy the game - and why I'll shoot the way (slightly better lol) that I do in real life. If I ever get close to shooting 59 consistently, bury me - I've gone to Heaven and there's no point in playing on the tour.

Just like Skyboxer said, well at least for myself, my golfer is like lvl 95ish and I have yet to sniff cracking the top 10 in a daily let a lone a four rounder. At the end of the day, if everyone plays enough, everyone will have a maxed out golfer and you will still see the same names at the top of the leaderboard because its not all about the ratings, the way Bighoff set up the rules, the game actually requires skill as well. I could probably trade golfers with someone like Kodiak or Rolltide and they would probably still be able to shoot a 7 to 9 under on a round and I would still be happy to come out just breaking even.

With that said, what I'm getting at is there is nothing stopping anyone in the CC from getting their golfer maxed out. The more you actually play the game the more XP you get, the more your golfer levels, and in addition to that, your actual skill with your controller will improve as well.

Someone else said it's not like we are playing for some prize or money. Its more for fun and being in a CC with people you know (at least on here) makes the game way more fun, interesting, and keeps my from shelving it when the likes of NCAA and Madden come out again.

Me and my bro have been getting into the habbit of getting online and playing at the same time but we are both on our headsets so we kinda wait for the other person to shoot first. Its also more fun this way to see where your ball winds up when you tee off vs your friend, and then the next shot the same. The only time we dont really wait for one person to shoot first is like for example, my bro is sitting pretty on the fairway and my ball is some 100 yards away from him frolicking around in the forrest. In those instances, we wont see each others balls again (that didnt sound right) until we are both on the green.

Tide, sorry you had to witness my child-like enthusiasm on that hole.

But just for once, I got a taste of how it must feel for guys like yourself, who I see atop the leaderboards every event. I was like, "Yes, this must be how it feels to be like KG, rolltide, BigBaby, Kodiak, etc... when they are playing their round. Birdies & Eagles dropping left & right."

Then later in my round, the clock struck midnight, and I returned back to my reality.

For that one, brief shining moment, I got to see how the "cool" kids of Bushwood must feel every round.

I love this CC.

Posted a snowman on 13 during round 3! Went from a -6 to a -1. It's pin placements like this the make me angry. So damn angry. When I went in the drink at 17, I was fine, but when you are sitting on a green in 1..........end rant.......grrrrrrrrrr!
