HB has stated that the game will be backward compatible, and assuming you buy the same company's next gen system (XB1 --> XBX or PS4 --> PS5), I assume the game will be tied to your Microsoft or Playstation account. So in theory, it shouldn't need to be re-purchased, but maybe someone else on here can confirm.

I could see Ping or Nike, but Titelist has never fully allowed their clubs, balls, etc. in a golf game. They seem notoriously protective of their brand.



Ping was in the EA golf games, as was Nike. And Nike items can be seen on Cameron Champ and Tony Finau in game. So I wouldn't be shocked if they got added.

There are Nike items in game, technically...they are only shown on the Nike Tour players. You can't put any Nike items on your player, though.

I also noticed Justin Thomas had a Titleist hat on in the early videos they released, and then in the last one with Shooter McGavin his hat was just a plain hat. Didn't know if anyone else had seen that or not.
