Really enjoying the game.

Love the abundance of settings that I can change to have the game fit my playstyle.

One thing I did was turn off backswing tempo or whatever its called that effects whether you hook/slice, and its helped me hit the ball better.

I think they call it "Swing Timing"? You're not the only one who is doing this. I'm reading more and more from people who are playing in Master and Legend swing difficulty, but turning the swing timing setting OFF.

May not be "sim" but makes the game more enjoyable for me.

Nothing wrong with that, and you may eventually reach a point where you're ready to give it a go again with swing timing on at a lower overall swing difficulty level. I'm finding that Pro-Am swing difficulty might be the best place to start. There's a big gap between it and "Pro" swing difficulty in my experience. In the last three days, I've had everything from a 65 to a 92 in Pro swing difficulty, with most of my scores coming in between 75 and 78.

Been playing random courses while I get my settings dialed in. Some amazing course designers out there.

There truly are some amazingly gifted designers out there. I'm very impressed at how well many of the top TGC 2019 courses have ported over to 2K21.

I'm having a love / hate relationship with the game. I was on Masters in the last game and could break par on most courses and flopped between CCZ to CCF.

On this years game I've settled in on ProAm and out of the 30+ rounds I've played I've been under par but twice! I like the challenge but wow I haven't even managed to get a spot on the Korn Ferry Tour yet. I've been oh so close only to blow a hole along the way.

I'm really struggling getting drives in the fairway but recently my greens in reg has taken a boost regardless. I've turned off that % bar as it irked me. Most drives I know it was on my swing tempo and I deserved the outcome but some have been perfect perfect and have still gone off track... Putting takes getting used to but I like it. I'm still getting the odd damn 3 putt but again that's on me for rushing those short ones.

Graphics got a boost, physics seem fantastic to me, and sound is spot on for a golf game...

Can't stop playing the game. Even editing first episode of career mode to go on my youtube. Just can't wait to play again. Feels like I'm streaming daily now because I just want to show how good this game is. Yes, I'm on pretty hardcore settings, but it's so rewarding overall.

I'm not sure about that ball and how it bounces down the fairway on rollouts or when it seems to "explode" off a slight sidehill of rough almost like a racquetball off a raquet..

There are many physics scenarios I've seen that are sort of head scratching to me if I'm being honest.


Many times so far I've thought "that doesn't look right"

My buddies and I are enjoying playing this game together. A lot of us have been starving for a PC golf game to play as a group, and this has fit the bill nicely. Plus with the different swing difficulties it's helping the guys who haven't really played a golf game like this before to get into it and enjoy it with us right away.

I never played much of the other TGCs simply because I hated the swing mechanic. I am still not crazy about it, but I am playing it more out of the fact that there is nothing else out there golf wise at the moment. On pro I usually shoot between 5 and 8 under. I did join the one TGC tour w/o any meter and I was usually shooting around +3. I did have a +9 round though which was not pretty. I was stubborn and used a high distance driver but was hitting the fw at like a 25% clip. I switched to the most forgiving driver and last few rounds on pro I think I only missed the FW a handful of times and a couple were due to bad bounces. Physics seem alright to me although it seems my 9i reacts like a 3i at times. Still hit a few pitches from the sand or rough that are WTF shots (way short or way long w/o any reason that I can find). I do feel the game is missing some key features like CHAT! Just a txt based chat to say nice shot or gg or whatever. Playing match play is so un-personal you may as well be playing against the PC. I would also like to see the shafts make a difference in your swing. For example if your tempo is fast normally you could use a stiff shaft to balance it.

I haven't had any WTF moments that I can outright recall.

One thing that remains that is irritating is drops when going into the water. Had 1 today where I sprayed a 3 wood into the drink. Game put me back into original position and I had a clear 150 yards of fairway between me and the water edge.

I've also been blocked by grand stands and signs on the course costing me strokes.

What version?

On Xbox you can hit the X button right after a shot to trigger a replay an dit plays every time for me.

None of my replays are saving in PS4. They should be under your profile menu, under the Replays section.

On Xbox you can hit the X button right after a shot to trigger a replay an dit plays every time for me.

I am on the PS4. You would think there would be a section where you could view your saved replays. I have saved a few shots but there is nowhere I can find just to watch any of them when you turn the game on. Nada.

Like I mentioned a few posts above, they should be saving in the Profile Menu (press Options button on pretty much any page). There is a selection labeled "Replays". However, no replays are being saved...I don't know if this is a PS4 issue or an issue across the board, but I have tried to save 3 or 4 replays and none of them save.

No 3-click and yes to PGA TOUR player names, with a handful of exceptions, in PGA career mode... on leaderboard, that is.
