If I had to wager, I'd still bet they don't ever do a course creator.
That said -- if they did -- I could see EA doing that particular software as something only on the PC, where all the limitations of consoles/software there aren't a factor
Maybe even something like “design on PC, but release the courses everywhere”
I might have to go into therapy for "overexcitement" if they do a course creator. I personally wouldn't use it -- but just the potential for the game and the longevity that would come as a result would be incredible
(just look at all the courses still being made, today, for TW08!)
Still though -- I don't think they will...but hey, who knows at this point!

A course creator would be another reason to produce a PC game. And that way, EA would probably killed the competition. That's about the only edge 2K has right now, the unlimited courses.Comment

Finally we may just get a decent golf game again.
I have been daft enough to buy pga tour 2k21 and it's predecessors every year. The games are truly awful.
Online is ruined by cheats who birdie and Eagle every hole. The only way to complete online is to cheat and I won't do that.
I've been hoping ea would bring another golf game out. Their last attempt rm golf on the ps4 had the most appaliing ai. Pga21 etc all have dreadful ai.
Without decent ai then the games are hopeless in career mode.
Fingers crossed that ea can give us a good golf game. Fancy graphics won't cut it unless they are backed up by realistic game.
It's not too much to ask. Unfortunately it's been a very long time since anyone could be bothered to make a good golf game.
Fingers crossed for ea as I expect pga 23 to be another slab of rebadged garbage. I won't be falling for it this time.
But I will buy ea game if its good.Comment

Graphics look great, however I have zero hope for this game. Their biggest sell is Augusta and the majors, that's great, but playing the 4 major courses and a hand full of others is going to get boring. Not to mention the normal arcade feel of the old EA golf games.Comment

I would hope that over time there will be close to 40 courses because 20 would get old real quick no matter how pretty or how good the game plays.

Everybody and their mother would have bet $1,000, two days ago, that this would never come to PC again
We have no idea if they'd do a course creator again. They've done it before and could certainly do it again, especially given the competitive environment they're in vs 2k here.
I agree with above also -- I think this game will get north of 40 courses over time.
For a LOT of people that is more than enough.
On the course note - I'd love if they'd allow us a mode to build a "dream 18" from picking holes from all the various courses in the game. Given the courses we already know are "in" -- it could be a ton of fun to pull 18 of the very best holes together!

I don’t see it as a fail if there is no course creator.
Playing TW14 all them years back the gameplay had depth on simulation difficulty that was good enough for every single round to play out differently. You don’t need a ton of courses when you got game.Comment

the quality of these courses is what makes them play over and over again. But you never know if they will release a course creator again. I just think as detailed as these courses are the more realistic it's gonna be. It looks like a slam dunk on 2K to me.
