Sudden death playoffs in career mode are still bugged, even after this last patch...finished in a 3-way tie at -11 at the John Deere Classic, and had no playoff. Ended with me getting the trophy and the win, even though this was the leaderboard:

I've had this happen in 2 tournaments recently. Lol


Looks like I'll make my first cut this week in CC-K. 9 under after first 2 rounds. Could've been better but putting is still a weak point. My proximity to the hole on approach shots needs to be better as well. Pumped to finally make a cut though.

Played it maybe 3 times. Once solo, and a couple times online with random players.

Gets old fast, as it's just one game mode at the one Topgolf location in Vegas. I would imagine it's more fun playing it with people you know, either locally or online, but I haven't done that. The rounds only last a couple minutes, so it is a quick diversion. But it really has no long-term staying power or appeal.

Makes me wonder ... is there a TopGolf game for Oculus Quest or something?

That feels like a more fun and better use of that concept

Sort of a modern take on like "Wii Golf" or something

No idea...but it's in the WGT mobile game and works better there IMO.

Zero interest. My wife and I spent 5 minutes on it. Like you said, might be fun for a group of folks at the house who enjoy golf, but if that happened with us and everyone was up for some golf, it would be a round and not Top Golf.

In my opinion, probably the least interesting and worthless "upgrade" in 2k23.

Some friends and I play it

I find it entertaining for what it is and for no more time than I play it in any one gaming session.

I think it could be better and have more appeal if they added more modes to it, and added other Topgolf venues. There is potential with it, but they did just the basic, bare-bones work to get it into the game, it seems.

I mentioned this before, but it would be better IMO if it was PlayStation Move compatible (or Kinect or whatever it is for XBox). I use the controller for serious golf gaming, but I admit TW14 is pretty fun playing casually with people using the PS Move controllers; it kind of simulates a golf swing.

For those interested, playing rounds in 2K23 from Dec. 8-14 and breaking 90 will allow you to rack up Barstool Sports apparel. Breaking 90 once gets you a hat, breaking 90 ten times gets you a blue polo, and breaking 90 twenty times gets you a white polo.

The fine print says that it only counts 18-hole rounds at 2K Official courses when connected online. Items will be automatically delivered to the MyPlayer locker by the end of the day on Dec. 16.

Played a few rounds today for the first time in a couple of weeks, and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Shot well, under par on 3 my career rounds and won a couple of 1v1 9 hole matches. No glitches or problems, and the graphics (mainly the trees and nature) seemed to pop a little more than I remember.

I'm going to get back into it more. They've definitely balanced the green side bunker splash issue, much better. Still a very solid playing game of golf and it's still fun to play it until we get something (hopefully) better.

Glitches and bugs aside it's going to be difficult to create a better playing golf sim than we have here.

Still cannot use the swing stick glad I like 3 click. Before they did any updates the swing stick worked absolutely fine for me. There are a few things I don't like about 3 click but overall it is very good and I have found a difficulty level that lets me shoot around par which is what I am looking for. I don't know how anyone can play 3 click on Legendary it just moves too quick.

Getting the putt power on downhill putts is tricky and I have found some putts miss that should go in while others with a questionable putt path by me seem to fall. I guess it evens out.

Well there are no guarantees but I hope we get something at least equal game play wise with better graphics. I don't find that the graphics detract from game play and I know they are superior on the PC.
