And I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet that all of us will do exactly what you mentioned lol.

Seriously though, it's the best time in history for golf games. Things are about to get really good. 2k's game is great, I still enjoy it daily. If EA has solid gameplay to go with those graphics, what else can we ask for over the next 2 years? Good times indeed.

That’s not good gameplay mechanics it’s luck.
That said when you get to the green everything is spot on reading, cameras, roll out etc is all top notch.

I know I am in the minority but I play 3 click Master and find nothing random about the game at all. The shot dispersion is close to perfect. For sure 2k needs to invest some money in the game going forward.

Remember the difference between a good shot and a poor one is measured in milliseconds so what you might see as sheet that was the same swing as the last one is incorrect.

I was just putzing around in career mode, and looked at the courses in 2K's curated list that you can choose from to swap into events. Since launch 4 months ago, how many do you think have been added?

Three...three is the correct answer. Torrey Pines North and two NextMaker courses: Wilderness Peak and Finau Fresh Country Club (which just came out last week).

Torrey South and Pebble Beach are locked into their real events in the schedule, so they are not a part of that list.

I am still baffled as to how a game with a course creator and thousands of courses at their disposal can't find great community courses, vet them, and stick them in that list. It's nuts.

Heck - Why can't I create my own course and use it for whatever event I want.

This is the dream right here...my assumption is that they'd have to do some kind of check of the course to set AI scoring and make sure it doesn't violate any copyrights or things like that...basically, the negative side of signing on with the PGA Tour.

I wish they would have been able to leave the solo society feature in the game and then just let you build your own tour with any courses you want like we used to in TGC19 and prior. It wouldn't have been related to a PGA Tour career mode at all. But it seems the Tour wanted no way for the player to build a replica of their season outside of the official career mode...even though you still can in regular Societies? IDK, makes no sense to me.

Plus, it's so frustrating when they really keep holding back things related to the course creator, when it's the main feature that sets them apart from the competition.

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I’m enjoying the game. Game physics are great! I’m a career mode player but I’ve noticed the past few tournaments including a major very few of the playable pros, including Tiger, are not participating. I like being on the leaderboard and battling with these pros.

There's a setting in the MyCareer mode, "CPU Attendance", that determines the likelihood of AI players attending events.

If you set it higher, CPU players will participate in more events. I have mine set at 90%. Pros will still sit out from time to time - I recall Jon Rahm sitting out the fake Masters when he was my rival. But more often than not, the pros will be playing. Out of the 30 events I have done in my current season, most pros have played in 25-30 events.

How many players we can create at the same time for 2k23 in MyPlayer mode? Excluding the 3 guests because we can't play as main golfer with those anyway.
The reason, I want to create my own player, but my wife also wants to play with his player. Not really fun to create every time our player, so if possible to create several players will help to buy the 2k23.
I have 2k21 and its not possible.

                    Thank!

I have a male and a female player. When I want to switch out I change the name and sex and the clothing and appearance is saved. I am not sure if that is what you are looking to do though.

You get the 1 MyPlayer, and then can have the 3 guests. There's no way to really have 2 separate MyPlayers in the game.

FYI...I assume those who play PGA 2K might also be a part of TGCTours and have a forum account over there.

Well, last night someone hacked the forums, and they have been down for going on 12 hours or so up to this point. I guess the hacker deleted everything there - posts, threads, etc. And they also apparently claim to have everyone's email and IP addresses as well.

Just wanted to let folks know, and that you might want to change passwords and such that could be affected.

                          Man, people are the worst.
