I do t care so much if they use 3 click or consumables, but what I can’t stand is having them chip on the greens. Putt that damn ball!

I've noticed those that can drive 350+ generally have a terrible short game. It hasn't bothered me much. Much like real golf, accuracy is far more important then distance, especially in this game where I really have to try and shank a ball 50 yards.

And yeah, chipping on the green needs to go, and shouldn't even be that hard to implement. Of course, casuals are the most vocal about these things so maybe they just don't want to deal with the Twitter abuse when they make you putt on the green and get 50 tweets a second calling them idiots for not allowing it. Just the nature of the beast these days I guess

Yep, I would assume it's the same as the fact that splash shots only appear in the sand/chip shots do not appear when in the sand.

Problem is...on some courses, it might actually be needed to chip on the green. Hole 6 at Riviera, for example, where there's a bunker in the middle of the green. Maybe it could be allowed to chip on specific greens or something.

Some chipping and bunker play frustrations aside, (mainly tempo related, changes based on if you get the quick or slow animation) I'm still really enjoying this game.

Went back to no scout camera the last few days too and don't think I'm going back. That along with no green grid or aim marker plus fade hud makes this game pretty damn immersive and rewarding to play.

First hole of ranked tonight...disconnect. Lost 12 points.

I never actually lost connection though. I was still online when the game sent me back to the main menu. This is really annoying and needs addressing.

Oh, and just had FOUR freezes, as well. One during a ranked match, one just scrolling the recently added courses list, one when trying to restart the game after that, and one during an official 2K society round at Sawgrass.

4 choices. Hit the D pad see what you like. You have behind the golfer a follow cam and one view from the left and one view from the right.

Issues sound pretty bad on the PC course designer side of things still...but yeah, a course design contest window is opening over at TGCTours, and decent tracks are being released pretty regularly.

Do any of you guys know what to search on to find Brookline? I tried a couple of obvious searches but can't find it. I played it multiple times in 2k21 but I can't remember what it's listed as or if it's been blocked?

Also, what's the current "best" Augusta listed as? Is it still A Tradition Like No Other or has that been topped at this point?

Don't think the designer of Brookline has been able to port it over...with the updated trees and such, courses that were under the object meter limit in 2K21 are now showing up as being something like 120% or more in 2K23, and to publish you have to be below 100%. He has recently talked about it over at the TGCT forums, and mentioned how he's going to try to get it below the 100% by deleting perimeter trees and exterior stuff.

As for that Georgia course...Fruitland Farms is pretty good, but not meant to be 100% accurate. There's also a newer one called Hello Friends (L), with a "Major" version called Hello Friends - Major(L).

National golf club or the national, forget what it’s exactly called is a good one too.
