To this point about the crashes, I have hundreds of hours into this game and not one time has it crashed on me. So weird because I know a lot of people were having that issue.

I haven't put in near the hours you have but I'm also on PS5 and haven't had any crashes. I strictly play career and the occasional quick casual match, but no crashes.

Just got my second "CE-34878-0" error today while playing 2K23 on PS4. These are the first two errors like this that I've ever had in the game.

Since this is basically the same game as 21 under the hood I would imagine what have they done to make this game so unstable after nearly half a year on the market? The cut scenes?

Update from the PGA 2K23 Discord:

The following updates are live now on all platforms, with changes and improvements that tune the Ranked system to allow for easier movement to higher tiers, and make it easier to maintain tier achievement:

• Increased the rating gained for wins
• Decreased the rating lost for losses
• Made further adjustments to tune win/loss amounts for players at each ranking tier

This is a server-side update, and no new installation is required.

That was coming eventually. Really hard to go up the rankings. It should be hard, but it was impossible before.

just got this for the free weekend, and i can say it's a very good improvement over 2K21. Looks better and they polished up the gameplay. This is the first game they made i like. I'll probably buy it tomorrow.

I'm also enjoying it! Played this, and some of the EA game, and am preferring the gameplay of this more. I know EA looks great, but am having more fun with the challenge of 2K.

I have 2K21, and I held off and just bought 2K23 a month ago, and boy... what an improvement in the game play. The changes aren't huge, it's just that the game play is so finely tuned now. The putting in particular is spectacular and much tougher than 2K21, which I love. IMO it's the best golf game ever from purely a game play POV. Would love to have an offline season mode, but you can't have everything my Mama always said.

Has the Career Mode improved? I know there was some weird bugs early and I haven't bought yet (coming off the newborn and phase and finally getting free time again).

I'm solely an offline career mode player - worth the buy? Added courses?

Are you on Xbox? If so it’s free play weekend

Solely an offline career mode player I’d say yes if you buy at discount (it’s currently $25 at GameStop).

The gameplay on the course is great. Everything else is average

Yes for the most part the game play in 2k23 is amazing. I always wondered why they don't find a guy who can put together a proper career for their game. If you ever wondered how Arctic Fury can get his courses to look the way they do this video with DR explains how he does it.

PGA TOUR 2K23 Impressions

Went to get today’s Eastside Golf reward, the strapback hat, and it’s only available in women’s. Doesn’t make sense—especially considering you need to download the free item all 9 days for the VC reward at the end. I got it anyway but don’t have a female golfer.

Please post here if any of you see the hat available in men’s later today.
