Some interesting new Quests just dropped:

There's now a "Major Moments" tab, and the current Quest in there is called "Championship Chronicles". It pays out 500 VC for finishing a round with a score of -7 or better in Ranked Tours, while wearing Sun Day Red apparel.

In the "Season" tab, there's a Wednesday Wear and Earn as usual, asking you to use a Callaway driver on 1, 3, and 5 holes. You get 100 VC and an Evo Tool for that.

There's also a "Rose on the Rise" spotlight one on Rose Zhang. Finish two consecutive rounds of -2 or better on any official course, record 8 birdies or more in a single round on any official course, and finish a round of 62 or better on any official course, and you get a hoodie and 50 VC.

Completed all of them tonight, I like them, nice payouts. Hopefully they keep posting these types of quests

Really close to ordering this. All editions are on sale. Leaning towards the Legend Edition because there is a good value there. Suggestions from you all?

Legends is worth it for the Clubhouse pass plus extra vc.

What exactly is a sponsor event? I see it mentioned in a quest along with career events.

What exactly is a sponsor event? I see it mentioned in a quest along with career events.

During each week in MyCareer, there is a training event, pre-tournament events, and then the actual tournament.

In the pre-tournament section, you usually get a practice round option. However, sometimes that section will say "Multiple Events". One of them is typically a Sponsor Event, although some events have specific special events tied to them as well (the Legend Championship, for example, has a Par-3 Contest).

Sponsor Events themselves are minigames that give you a progression boost for the sponsor it's connected to. I just had one last night for Sun Day Red that was a putting challenge, trying to get long putts within a certain distance of the hole.

Thanks. I've see those pretournament mini games and practice rounds but generally don't do them. I'll keep my eye out for one s that say sponsor event.

Have you guys found good difficulty slider settings yet? I am rocking default sliders, but CPU difficulty is at Master. Also sometimes i use Hard conditions.

My first season at PGA Tour started well, with couple good positions and then i missed cut three times row (my swing was horrible then). I finally managed to win one tournament just before Players Championship, so i am eligible to play all Signature events and Majors. That was big win and suprise for my first season. Just playing at Players first round right now, good looking course.

Videogame golfing is more fun when you play par or better rounds, but i do like realistic scoring and scenarios. Not looking to dominate at my first PGA Tour season.

They made some changes a few days ago. You now get more VC per hole in some game modes:

Why is the Players Championship near impossible to win? I’ve got Hojgaard shooting 7-under per round here! Most tournaments have real-life accuracy to scores, but the Players seems to be a rubber-band type of deal.

From what I’ve seen Scottie is the only big PGA name missing, aside from all the LIV players like Bryson that obviously wouldn’t be there.
