Purchased it today. Seems interesting enough though not as polished as road to masters. As for VC wonder if you shouldn´t just spend them all on just buying higher stats instead of upgrade tokens. I have nothing to fill the slots with anyway but maybe you can buy those too? I see you earn vc at a very low rate. I bought the legend so I have some to spend at least but feels really important to get it right lolComment

Vc earn rates are criminally low. What is the point with xp? You get points to upgrade shots is that all? I have no vc so I struggle to use them due to the ovr 75 lockout. Only way to level up is spending vc
As for the shots the pitch shot is a total mystery. I can calculate other shots but pitch can be all over even on perfect swingComment

All this VC "earning" stuff is so depressing to me.

As you earn XP, your golfer's level increases. As your golfer's level increases, more Attribute Points unlock. You then use VC to apply Attribute Points to enhance your player's individual attributes, which in turn increases your golfer's OVR rating.
Skill Points are what is used to unlock and improve the shot types. You get a limited amount of Skill Points to apply to your player, and some skills/shot types are not available until your player reaches a certain OVR level.
And yes, VC payouts are super slow...the best way to earn VC is to play the MyCareer mode, and complete the Quests related to that mode. They pay out a decent amount of VC, and can be repeated by using multiple MyPlayers with their own career modes. There are also some other Quests that pay out decent VC that aren't connected to MyCareer...but those are generally one-and-done...once you complete them, they are no longer available to do again.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 06-29-2025, 02:06 PM.Orbis Non SuficitComment

I wouldn't use your VC to buy Level Up tokens or fittings...you earn those fairly frequently in the game for free through Quests and things. At the start, I would definitely focus on improving your player by playing the game, earning XP, unlocking Attribute Points, and then using the VC to apply the Attribute Points.
I would recommend watching this Starter Guide video by Respawn...he goes into detail about the various things discussed here:

Thanks! I did waste the points I got with the legends edition on the upgrade tools bundles that was bad. But since then only on upgrading my ovr. It takes what maybe 1h of gameplay to increase one level and I guess it will just take more and more time the less challenges left to complete.
I only do career and I do training and all in that. If I create a second character does he start from 0 or can you if you upgrade your first character enough make the other characters start at the same level or at least not 0.... I mean I played some 20h already probably more and am at level 76... It doesn´t seem that if you level up your player you start to earn more
I also got another issue. I changed sponsorship to mizuno. I got that wedge claimed it but it´s nowhere to be seen in my golf bag. I check wedges but it only shows the default 2k wedge I own. In drivers I have 3 different. Its just cosmetic but where on earth do you apply that skin on the 2k clubs if so?

First pga playoff at sawgrass. Seems like the career only do two courses so far 8 events in. Got my first hio. I8 shot I really liked the look of. No wind. 4 perfect swing a bounce and tracked perfectly. Nice follow up to an eagle just before.
Has an odd shot before. Par 3 on that famous water green. Just made the carry hit the rocks then i got some 30 yards of backspin so I nearly went into the water despite the ball landed on the other side of the green lolComment

If you create a second player, it starts at like 63 OVR or something like that. I would NOT start a new player until you have your first MyPlayer to 90 OVR. At that stage, you'll get "Rebirth" for any new characters created after that. "Rebirth" means that any new character you build will get free Attribute Points you can apply to get them up to 74 OVR right off the bat instead of starting at that 63 OVR level.

Did some 4th of July quests. I guess this is the top of 2k generosity.
Upgraded to stinger but dont understand it. Seem to hit some 15 yard shorter then a normal drive with 15 wind against you.
Maybe better to combat side wind but its pretty easy to compensate for
Hope more for the Texas wedge though I do chipins from time to time
Also tried online duo. Poor guy that teamed up with me but we won he repaired my swings well lol. Not ready for evo swing insanely difficult to angle the shots. Maybe you should angle the controller instead.

I got ovr to 85 but since then stuck after several tournaments wins and other events. The grind is just nuts. Do some practise event earn 1 vc!
This buggers me more and more. As for xp is i better to have all wedges of different brands to get more xp boosts or is it the same as one with 25?
I also noted you can level your character to much so you cant shot shape anuöymore. My draw biased character can no longer execute fades. The trajectory is straight at best. I did upgrade correction to like 58 or something lastComment
