Seeing some graphical bugs on official courses with rough not rendering, just the base 2D mesh visuals. Looks horrible, anyone else seeing this on Series X?

Might be totally done with MyCareer until they figure out the leaderboard issues.

PGA Championship in my second season. I now only play 2-round events to help avoid dispersion issues, but Xander wins again, this time by 11 shots over Adam Scott. Tiger Woods finished 4th...18 shots behind Xander.

I'm also still seeing some bad lag when playing career mode. Super annoying.

PGA Championship in my second season. I now only play 2-round events to help avoid dispersion issues, but Xander wins again, this time by 11 shots over Adam Scott. Tiger Woods finished 4th...18 shots behind Xander.

I'm also still seeing some bad lag when playing career mode. Super annoying.

The only time I notice any lag is right at the start then none.

That's usually what it was for me...I just got back from vacation and downloaded the latest patch today. Now, I had stuttering throughout MyCareer rounds. Maybe it was just slow internet for me tonight or something, but it was worse than it ever was before.

I also noticed that I am now seeing times where I pull the stick back, and the swing won't register. This is an issue I had with other 2K golf games, and was solved by plugging in a headset (for some reason).

Unfortunately, I do have a headset plugged in and it's still happening now. And it wasn't happening to me in 2K25 previously, up to this point.

I have had this happen too. It might be worn controller. I used my spare controller and the issue was gone. The one that wasn't working seems fine in other games but wouldn't work on 2K.

I'm in a similar boat, I've been playing through a full season to experience all the official events but probably stopping after that until a fix is made. Xander didn't seem too crazy in my season until the last few events, he's top 5'ing almost every event now and is ~2-3k ahead of 3rd place (I'm in 2nd with 6 wins, 2 of them majors, lol) Wyndham Clark who even has 3 wins on the year.

The lag has been fairly bad for me in Career Mode as well, just on the first hole and not every time but it's pretty bad in some situations. They seem to have fixed it in all other modes, but not fully in career mode of course.

On the positive side, I can confidently say I don't think there's any rubberbanding of any sort in the CPU scoring. I'm 2 rounds through the Open Championship atm and the CPU scores are terrible for some reason (I did select Very Hard winds, but Default everything else), I'm at -12 and the next highest is at -1 and it's a fairly normal distribution beyond that. I also led the US Open by a good 3-4 shots the entire final round and Lydia Ko behind me never really went on a big run to threaten my score. I think any crazy scoring from a CPU you're competing with may be concidental, or down to another issue like broken scoring (i.e. Xander sometimes).

I had this happen to me the last couple weeks, if you're playing with shot feedback on are you seeing the power meter start to build up and then cut off almost immediately (like a red flash in the feedback meter)? It was happening to me on and off too, sometimes I'd go through rounds at a time with no issue but then other rounds it'd happen almost every other shot. I got a new controller thinking it was an issue with my controller itself and haven't had any issues yet in ~8-10 rounds with it.

Yes, this is exactly what's happening. I pull back, the meter starts up, then flashes red and stops and the swing goes back to square one.

It's just odd that it wasn't happening at all before the last patch. I hadn't played this game, or any other game, for about 10 days, and had no controller issues before that. So I'm not sure how the controller could just go bad sitting there for a week and a half untouched?

One other thing...does anyone else feel uphill putting changed recently? Last night, I left quite a few putts short of the hole...something I basically never had done before that.

Good to know, yeah it’s weird. The issue started happening to me before the recent patch, maybe a few days to a week before it. It was worse than ever for me right after the patch, probably had 15 occurrences of it the first round, but then soon after it rarely happened for several days, then went back to being frequent.

What’s your rhythm like on those uphill putts? I’ve found that on some uphill putts (not all) the game auto-aims you a little short of what’s needed if you get perfect or near-perfect rhythm and transition. You might’ve been going fast on rhythm before (as well all have lol) to make up that difference. I haven’t noticed any difference myself since the latest patch. It might be a good practice to add a little extra distance on uphill putts that aren’t downhill past the hole.

IDK - I never had to add aiming marker distance in any PGA 2K before this, and would typically blow missed putts past the hole some 5-ish feet.

I can't speak to previous 2K games, obviously, but I've heard the aiming marker works a tad differently in this game. The only time I ever leave it short without touching the marker is on some uphill putts, though I still have yet to be slow on a putt. Maybe the aim marker thing is an unintentional change, or maybe they're trying to make it less automatic? If the latter is true I'd rather they just allow an option to put it at the hole by default on Legend and maybe Master.

I have not altered any course condition difficulty settings (I use Medium difficulty winds/Default everything else), and green speeds are 98? They were something in the 150s when I played it in season one...

It was said changing the weather and time of day were a bug on release. Have you heard anything at all that they’re going to fix it?
