....looks a little better than Forza 1 as it has that Forza 1 look and graphically doesn't come close to GT:HD on the PS3.

That's for sure. If it looks very similar to the demo, GT:HD looks a LOT better. I'm shocked actually too, b/c I was really expecting Forza2 to bring it.

And now that GT:HD has (supposedly) actual AI and car damage, I think I may pass on this one unless you guys give glowing reviews.

The car list is just insane though. I might end up caving in based on that alone.

I like it so far. Reminds me of turismo.

I unlocked 2 muscle cars today....one was a 68 Shelby mustang.

How cool is that.

game is DEEP. The amount of customization is crazy. Game works great with the 360 wheel. Works great with the controller too. I'm using the controller right now as I need a racing seat or something. Hard to drive with the wheel in my lap.

Try attaching the wheel to a stand-up ironing board as a quick fix. Did this with an xbox wheel and the DFPro for PS2 and it worked pretty darn good. Just lower the ironing board down to your chair level and its suprisingly stable.

So far I am really enjoying Forza 2. The AI is way much tougher on the higher levels and I find it funny they will run you off the road this time around. It works extremely well with the racing wheel. The beginning tracks are a little bland and washed out but the good news is that it does get better. I can sorta agree with the Forza 1.5 comment as I don't have a high def tv so maybe I am missing something in the pretty graphics department. The cars drive more realistic this time around and now I have to figure the right setup advanced setting for my wheel though it plays great right out of the box. Just wondering how some of the settings work on the advanced setup screen for the MS racing wheel. I need more time to clock in before forming a real opinion but so far I am happy with this purchase. Here's to TOCA 3 on the 360 soon. Dirt is a must buy next month so everyone better start saving now.

Not a racing game fan at all... i think my last one was the original GT, but I'm floored. Fun game and like the rest have said... very deep game.


Did someone say mini? My first car and its fun to listen to her change from a little pipsqueak to a "mean machine" now!:wink:
I could go on and on.... but I need a re-match with the wife. She beat the pants off of me in our first head to head.

Yes that is the snap photo from the game. I shrank the photo down to post it but other than that it's straight from the game.

Yes you can upload right to the forza 2 website from in the game. It's an awesome feature. It's tied to your gamer tag. The site lists out some of your stats and shows the photo's you have taken. You should check the site out. It's cool.

I am completely blown away by this game. It's so accessible to newbies and yet so deep. My only grips is that I wish the engine sounds were LOUDER. It's a little on the tin-y side.

That photo mode feature is awesome. I snapped a couple photos of my Jag. MS did it right by keeping the resolution 720p for the images (1280x720). You could now make your own high res wallpaper from the game! Unfortunately photobucket chops them down to 800x600 for forum posts.

This game blows any other racing game I've played out of the water so far. So much to do.

The racing itself is challenging and realistic. Every once in a while I get fishtailed by a CPU car for no reason, which is kinda frustrating, but it doesn't happen often enough for it to be a real issue. The biggest thing though is that this is the first game I've noticed real differences driving different cars.

Haven't done much online yet other than look around; I can't figure out how to create a tournament on my end, so if we do a ladder, that option is out of the window. If I had any money I'd buy some of the cars on auction, another cool feature.

Customization, rocks. I just made a pretty nice Lostprophets car (that I'll upload next chance I get). For now, here's a work-in-progress Dallas Cowboys' themed Shelby GT500 (which didn't really take long at all to make).

What's up with the jaggies? Does the game have them as well? I would have figured for sure this game would not have them being that it was touted as such a graphical powerhouse.

I may have to pick up this game... I'm weak when it comes to realistic racers that have a ****load of real cars in it.

If you click the image after it loads your browser resizes it to it's native resolution and the jaggies are minimized.
