I'm just a true lover of driving. So this game is great to me. I have a group of friends i play with online. Just figured i give the heads up on the new content.

The only thing that stopped me from playing this game is that my 360 broke it.

As for the DLC, the nissan stuff was known for awhile, and I'm sure people are wanting more than another (same, but different name) Z car, and an altima. People want more exotic cars, as lots of people on their forums want stuff like the Ferarri FXX and Bugati Veyron.

I could care less about downloadable cars, I wanted tracks, but I'm doubting we're getting those.

Although we seem to be kicking back for the summer, there's actually quite a lot afoot here at Turn 10 in terms of projects and work on individual plates. I've gotten my inbox stuffed with questions and requests for Forza 2 downloadable content -- are we going to have more cars or tracks? When is it coming? The general answer to that question has always been "yes," we definitely have DLC up our sleeves and will release a series of car packs and new tracks starting in August and running probably through a good chunk of fall. Forza Motorsport 2 is definitely here to stay. We're also going to continually keep an eye on community and its successes and problems, patching and tweaking where we need to and rewarding those who are especially helpful or give back to the community.

I'm still having a lot of fun with this game, I primarily play it online now. I play mostly with randoms and I've had little trouble with people that barrel into turns and wreck others on purpose.

Online just is too much fun for me to quit playing and I'm glad as it's starting to look like I won't be getting Madden this year.

As far as DLC, I wish they had released the tracks already, but since they're on the way soon it's ok. Why make the cars cost MS points though? That's just stupid. Now I have to waste MS points on car just to get the all-cars achievement? ********.

I'm going to play this online later tonight and test drive that Peugeot race car out on the Ring. What I'm really looking forward to is getting more tracks, though.

actually, Turn 10 has said they have more DLC packs lined up well through the end of the year. There will be plenty of free cars, new tracks, and cars for MS points for a few months.

They just seem to be annoyed with how the MS certification process makes them look slow. They were promising free DLC cars almost right after the game came out, and they just got out. They've voiced their annoyance on this issue a few times on the forums. They are even a MS developer, so it says alot when they are complaining about the DLC process.

New cars are cool, but I agree that this game needs a few more tracks. Hopefully once the hooplah over the football games are past, more people will regain interest in this game. I was excited to get some online races in with some fellow OSers, but by the time I picked this one up, it seemed like everyone had moved on.

there's still some that play it regularly. myself, richierich1212, StoneRaizer, Kruza...there's more I just can't remember.

For those who aren't aware, the new Peugeot prototype race car (R1 class) cost 350,000 credits. And the 3 Nissan cars (D class) all cost around 50,000 together -- and maybe less for those who favor Asia region.

I agree, I would love some new locations. Especially a longer New York track. And maybe Monaco.

i want the drag strip i used to just race my beast car to see which 1 had the fastest 1/4 mile, but i would love to see more tracks that look like street races like forza 1

Yeah a drag strip would be cool. I know the guys on the forza forums have been pining for one since the day the game came out.

Back when my Dreamcast still worked, I used to play Sega GT all the time and that game had a drag strip. It doesn't sound like much, but working on your cars and figuring out which cars were better for drags made trying to beat your own 1/4 time a lot of fun. I eventually got a 9-second car.

So, I've been playing Forza on a firend's 360. I want to transfer the save to my 360. If I try to copy it to a memory card it tells me the file cannot be transferred between devices. So, am I pretty much SOL?
