that's the thing. No other game caused me problems until I started playing this. Many of the posts on their forums say the same.

If you're getting the track being black issue, it will progressively get worse. You'll get the track details popping up slowly first. tire marks and asphalt detail seems to pop up real late, and you start to notice it. Then you get the track disappearing by it not loading, then the dirty disc errors, then the outright lockups. I can't play this game for an hour without it locking up at least 2 or 3 times just picking my cars.

Damn...thanks for the good news.
The more I think about it.....I'm probably going to trade it in this weekend.
I'm not sure if it's coincidence or what,but ALOT of folks have been having their 360's die on them.

Like I said....it may be coincidence,but the folks over there are describing the same problems right before their 360 dies.
I was never a believer in a disc causing these problems,but after (last I checked) 13 pages...Forza just may have made me a believer.

My 360 acted the same way with Fight Night and PES before it finally started locking up more and more over a 3 day span. Then the 3 lights of death. My guess is that so many 360's are crapping out, its just a coincidence its happening while playing Forzda... especially considering its such a time consuming game.

Looks like you mostly have aftermarket tuner cars left.

I have seven racecars left to get to complete my collection (1 Audi, 1 McLaren and 5 Porsches), but I'm flat broke now. I'm going to be doing a lot of online racing to make up the amount I need to get them all, which I think adds up to around 4 million credits. Half of which includes the required 2 million credits to switch back to Europe region. Argh!

I have a question regarding the auction house.

When you auction off one of your custom cars, does the buyer become the new owner, meaning that you can't use it yourself anymore, whether it online or off?

That is usually what happens when you "auction" something away.
