anyone want a souped up aston martin db9? I bought a #007 le mans painted version and can't stand to race my plain version anymore. You can't swap parts, so the car it pointless in having a double. I upgraded it out the *** and it's worth at least over 100k in the game if I chose to sell it.

I instead feel like sharing my level 49 wealth with others...

I tried to play with the controller today after putting a design together so I can see what the car looked like during the replay, and boy is it tough for me after being so used to the racing wheel. Anyone else find the same?

You drove worse without the wheel?

I was so bad with the wheel I took it back to CC. Just couldn't get used to it, plus using it on my lap sucked.

Pick the game over the weekend. So far, so good. Any advice on the quickest way to make money. I really want to get online but only have 4 cars.

but what are your wheel settings?

Try 0% inside steering deadzone and 75% outside steering deadzone. That made a big difference for me. I should add that I'm one of the minority who has a Microsoft wheel that properly self centers... it seems that has a bearing on how a lot of people react to the wheel's benefits.

I tried playing offline career last night with the gamepad since I'd put my wheel and table up for company earlier in the day. I royally sucked with the gamepad. Couldn't manage a top three finish, let alone a win. I can never go back now that I've learned how to properly tweak and adapt to the wheel.

Heh, it's not too surprising to me. Demand for that car will be low because it's very hard to control at higher speeds and to maximize traction during acceleration without getting a lot of wheelspin. It takes a skilled driver with patience and consistency to reach its potential and be able to race with it competitively.

Offline career would be best. It may be too far along to join in on the online and hope to win much. Give some time to the offline and then when you feel pretty comfortable, go online with it.

you can still use stock cars in online races, but yeah, you'd be at some disadvantage. Just truck along with the career mode some, and the money will eventually flow in. I'm level 50 and have tons of money to go with the deep discounts the manufacturers give you. So cars get dirt cheap down the road. I actually think the career mode is more enjoyable at lower levels, as at the top, it gets tedious, long, and boring. Yo just race tons of R class races, in cars you can't really upgrade. They made me "forget" how to handle some of the lower classes when I hopped in a lobby tonight.

I've sent like 3 or 4 people free cars, so I can see if I have a spare in my garage. You might get lucky and get a high level A car like I sent johnny.

I see. Guess I should sell it then, since I lack skill. I upgraded it however, where I made it slower but handle better.

It's official, the Auction House is broken. I saw a red rings of death car go for 60 million yesterday. The funny thing was, I had it at 345,000 with 2 mins to go, over 90 mins later, with 1 min to go, it finally sold. I don't get it, why does it not sell and why does it keep going?

I know that when you make a bid with 2 minutes left, it resets the timer of the auction to prevent people from "sniping" auctions. So if people keep bidding on the car it will go on till no one bids on it for 2 mins.

I get the reasoning why they did that I guess, but at the same time, if you don't get it buy it now, or it's a car that's not popular, you almost have no prayer of getting it.
