Re: Forza 2 Discussion
just know that for the higher end cars the guys seem to be swapping now instead of straight up gifting. so its like you're going to get an enzo or anything like that for free. still, it's a cool concept, when I get the region achievements I'll be gifting those cars away.Comment

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
well I'm in europe and I've unlocked all but 3 cars before I can move on to another region. I used to have 11 million credits, but now I have like 4. Buying all the cars is expensive as hell, even with the discounts. All the R class cars cost from 250-350k credits each. Porsche has like 12 of them...Lux y VeritasComment

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
Good explanation. It's the same type of ordeal with Lexus and its parent Japanese company Toyota.

And I thought it only cost 100,000 credits to switch? Or does it cost more if you attempt to switch regions more than once?

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
I'm going to wait and finish single player Career mode before I try to buy all the cars. I'm currently in North American region, but there are a whole lot of European cars I want to buy. So I plan to buy every NA region car before making the switch.

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
Okay, I see.
Around how many credits have you been winning in the endurance races you already went through? I initially wanted to wait until I complete all other categories of races before doing any endurance races, but lately I've been tempted to get an early start on them if the payout is great.

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
this game is killing my 360. Here's a list of things I have experienced playing Forza 2.
game occasionally loads slower than normal
music occasionally skips during loading
track sometimes turns black and loses all detail during race
features on track load slowly and pops up during race (skid marks, tire tracks, asphalt detail)
glitched graphics in loading screen
dirty disk error, although disk is in mint condition...no marks at all.
game has locked up during car selection for online race numerous times
game lags and occasionally locks up during menu navigation
I can't even really finish the endurance races because I'm worried I'll waste an hour for nothing. Two I attempted today ended early, which of course by early I mean after like 75% of the race. One was a dirty disk error, and the other was an outright lockup. It really sucks driving around for 45 minutes only to see the track turn black and details popping up slowly. I got ps2 flashbacks...
My disk is mint, so it's either the game or my 360 going bad. I'm thinking it's the latter.Comment

Their forum is full of people complaining about the same issues as me, so at least I know it's not a small issue.Comment

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
Man, I see what you mean about how expensive buying these cars can get, bkfount. After going on a major virtual car shopping spree, I bought out all the production cars. Now I have about dozen GT and Prototype racecars left to buy, excluding the ones that are won from endurance races. I started off with about 10 million credits... and ended up with a little over 200,000 after splurging. Heh, looks like I'm finally going to have to get my online hustle on to win some credits to purchase the remaining racecars.
And to those who aren't aware of this... it costs 500,000 credits to switch regions for a second time. Big time increase from the 100,000 required to make the first switch. So make sure to buy out all the production cars at a certain discount before changing regions so you won't have to change so often.
Edit: Better yet... make damn sure to buy out all the production cars in one region before going to another region because it cost 2 million credits to switch a third time.

Re: Forza 2 Discussion
I just bought the steering wheel and was wondering how do you turn down it's sensitivity, I am out of control. I know the rule of slight adjustments, but the thing is to sensitive.
