I'm gonna hold off on giving away anymore cars, at least until I swap out my 360 to see if it was just the POS console.

On another note, I did see that someone found a free money trick. It doesn't involve any memory cards, profile swapping, or even threat of a XBL ban.

Get 5 porsches up to level 4, and for each level 4 porsche you get, it gives you 10% off pirelli tires. So 5 cars = 50%. For some reason, it lets you use this discount for a ME Four Twelve. So go to tire compound upgrades and buy the racing Pirelli's for 17,100. It will let you sell them for 21,400, making you 4,300 credits every time.

You can do this in seconds, so it will actually earn you more money than some of the races. Endurance races give you like 250k in an hour, this will give you millions. It works, but you need to have bought the ME Four Twelve, it won't let you do it if you got it as a reward in career.

I've had this game since a week after it came out, and still haven't even played Career mode.

Online is far too much fun to switch to racing computers. I like to have the challenge of having real people racing beside me.

I don't know if it's the same for everyone else, but I have to say that my connection is kind of shaky for online racing in this game. I get kicked out almost every other race I'm in. I get sort of "singled out," where everyone suddenly drops out midway through a race and I'm the only one remaining on the track. I was wondering if this often happens to anyone else?

Anyway... if my online connection can remain more steady than it has been, I'm going to start hosting a lobby on a daily basis. And guess what else I'm going to do? Force out the use of all assists. Yeah, that's right... all of them. I'm sick of competing for chum change because of people turning on TC, ABS, SC and that crappy racing line in most of these lobbies. I want to raise the stakes, and best of all... separate the real racers from the frauds.

Can anyone gift me a Ferrari 350 Challenge?

I'm down for online racing, kinda getting near the end of career. Would you be willing to compromise on the no-assists though? I can deal without TCS, STM, ABS and on a lot of tracks the suggested line, but I just don't race as well, yet, with manual.

I thought you had to get good cars in the offline mode to race online?
