Oh and I get a catastrophic error when trying to install the software. All aboard on the Fail Train.

Oh, you don't have the content installed? If not, that's why you're seeing the red X's. The website uses the local (Your computer) content to display that stuff on the website. Sorry, I knew that, just didn't think about it.

So for instance, the following link probably won't work for you. That's my Mazda in the colors I'm using, and if you have the content downloaded and installed it should work. If not, you'll just see a blank screen, or possibly a red X.

I saved the program (from IE7 instead of Opera) to desktop, tried running it from there. I get the catastrophic error every time at the "C:\..\iRacing\httproot\cars\formulamazda\formulam a zda.dat"

And now the installation program works.. 4 hours of trying and now it all of a sudden goes fine.

Depends on when and what car/track combo, but I'd probably be up for one.

I'd even be willing to host it as iRacing refunded my $3 for a session I was able to use.

I wasn't sure how much people would want to do it. I guess I figured it might only be a one or two time thing since that's how things like this always seem to work out for me, so having to spend more money didn't really occur to me.


I guess the first step is to see how many people are interested, then see what cars/tracks everyone owns.

Few questions about iRacing.
I sent couple email to them but never got a single reply.
I'll be racing at Infineon Raceway this March and was looking at iRacing as way to get more time on track.

1: Will I be able to get access to Infineon right away or will I have to do the rookie season?
2: Will I be able to practice alone?
3: What configurations do they have? More interested in the older style with the carousel
4: Will I be limited in the cars I can use in practice?
5: How large of a download is Iracing

Nope you will have to buy it i think it is 14.95$?

Yes

4 configs IRL 2007, IRL, CUP and "Long"
try a google search to find what exaclty routes they are

No any car you have you can use

5: How large of a download is Iracing
The program is around 1200MB (1GB?) + any content

Nick and Mike, you guys still racing?

Just messing around with the truck tonight for fun, Lowes is the track. I forgot to save my setups for the truck before I reformatted the PC so I'm using the Atlanta baseline setup, go me haha.

Need to hunt for setups now.
