so simply drafting stewart without pressing "A" has no effect on his rival status??? I guess I just don't understand the need for you to press a button??? Shouldn't stewart know you are an ally if you are riding behind him without a bump???

Unless you press the 'A' button he doesn't know you're drafting him. If you draft him in a race he thinks you're trying to help his chances of getting up in the pack or win the race. So he'll return the favor by not blocking or bumping you, etc., which is where the Grudges and Alliances comes into to play.

Yes, there are black flags in the PC version. I had to clear a BF once, but I was able to service my car and clear it at the same time, so...they're there, but not necessarily perfect

I'm not a racing fan and generally hate racing games but fun games are always in my collection. NASCAR has piqued my interest.

I thought the Xbox version had a career set-up. How does if differ from the PC.

Other than arcade side of things, how does the Xbox version race? Is it challenging? And generally good nothing crazy like bouncing off the sides of walls and still winning the race?

I don't think the XBox's career mode differs at all, other than interface. I'm not sure, I haven't played the X version, and don't have any intention of doing so. When I can control it with a $1000 TSW wheel or a handheld gamepad, I'll choose my PC and wheel any day of the week, twice on Sundays

You like to get it in any chance you get how nice and expensive your racing set-up is?

Just wondering, I have no intention of getting a racing wheel for video games. The only driving I like to do with wheel and it had better involve a car that moves.

Anyway it looks like the X version might be good enough for a casual gamer.
