    OSFC- Geico 400(Chicago)

The Chase for the OSFC Crown is on.

    My predictions?

    I wont win.

    Someone will win.

    Others will win races.

Chicagoland is on deck. I will try not to be weird in front of Danica again.

Back to a Sunday Race schedule

Once again, if you have any questions, feel free to post here.

I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking, if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Finally, don't forget to have fun

So the top 10 were randomized I'm guessing? Better than picking 22nd like at Daytona haha.

Proof has more wins in one season than I've had in my ~5-season OSFC career.

        Picking order?

it's how we always do it. Based on the previous race result with the Chase drivers picking first.

Newman in, Truex out among MWR penalties. 300k MWR fine. All 3 drivers docked 50 points. Ty Norris suspended indefinitely.

            Penalties announced

Are the rumors of Newman being back in chase and Truex out true? Can't find anything official. Thanks

I want Jeff Gordon in, too, then...

I am unsure how they can really prove wrongdoing, though.

EDIT: Ah, I see they fined Truex 50 points. That makes sense, then, though Truex didn't truly do anything wrong.

EDIT #2: Ah, they docked all the MWR cars 50 points.

And Bowyer's 50-point penalty is meaningless.

Why would Gordon get in? It was between Newman and Truex as they actually had wins. Unless you want to go after Logano or somebody for costing him a spot.

Without the intentional spin (and MWR shenanigans), Gordon finishes 10th in points most likely and Logano gets the Wild Card spot. I understand they can't penalize Logano for something he had nothing to do with, though, so it is what it is.

But they aren't going back and saying, "So and so finished here, so and so finished here." They are penalizing them for colluding and cheating. Which is what you wanted. Newman just happens to benefit since he has a win.

                              I agree.

Jeff just needs to do a repeat of last year and ruin Clint's Championship chances again by wrecking him.
