Such a waste as they would either vote Dale Jr or Jeff Gordon. They would never pick someone who actually deserves it.

Making the field 12 drivers was supposed to always get those two in.

So, if Carl gets to keep his points, can Jimmie get like an extra two or three wins that he got taken from him? Come on NASCAR, you can't have one ruling and then change it.
NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers
          NBA: Indiana Pacers
          MLB: Cleveland Indians
          NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers
          NASCAR: Ryan Newman

One day, Purdue Men's Basketball and Football will become relevant again.

When did Jimmie get 2-3 wins taken from him? Dover, maybe, but he jumped the start. That is the only one I'd say he had taken from him.

Yeah, what a mess. Also, a 13th car gets added to the 2013 Chase for the Cup on Friday September 13, 2013. NASCAR didn't announce this at 1:13 or 1313 in 24 hr time, did they?

lol, no, it was 2:55 local. Though it might have dragged on to 3:13, or 1:13 pacific.

NASCAR is just trying to cover their behinds now. This is silly Jeff had 25 other races to race his way in and couldn't and now because of a public uproar they stick him in. Crazy

Am I the only one who feels that we should add one more to the OS Chase to coincide with Nascar?

Might as well add Brad Keselowski to the chase too since he's the defending champion.

I only make one set of standings a week. What's done is done.

Ok, I've seen enough. Give me Kasey Kahne. Hopefully qualifying is a better indication of how the weekend goes than his practice.

I was kind of looking forward to Jeff's chance to try new things and just try to win races. It is not like he has a real shot at the title, anyways.

We should add Danica to the Chase.

The bottom line is that the Chase fails again.
