Oh that's bad timing for having it packed up.

I put together a video of a race I was watching a friend do.

Damn... I left a few months before the dirt racing stuff came out, seems like they've added more to the game since I left than they did in the 5ish years that I raced on and off...

My internet connection is WAY worse since I moved a few months ago, but I may have to buy a few months and see how my connection is, game looks more fun than ever!

Most hardcore sim racers run on PC.

iRacing is to the extreme for hardcore, practice, and time put in at the top levels if you want to be fast.

The market for that on console isn't there. Although Pcars and AC are on console they offer a more casual experience and single player venue.

With as small of a team as they have trying to develop for multiple platforms just wouldn't be worth it, as they wouldn't gain much out of it.

Dirt Night is incredible. I have watched the past 2 nights live and it has been the best livestream product iracing has provided yet in my opinion.

There are lots of streams on twitch, but iRacing and its broadcast partners use this for the featured races and leagues. There are many more out there also on YouTube.

iRacing Celebrates Announcement with Primary Sponsorship of Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell

iRacing.com, the leading online racing game, announced today plans to add the world famous Tulsa Expo Raceway, home of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire, to its extensive inventory of dirt tracks available to iRacing members. iRacing is currently at the temporary racing facility in Tulsa, OK laser scanning and gathering reference photography so that the track can go into production immediately. It is anticipated the track will be available this summer.


In celebration of the announcement iRacing has partnered with Chili Bowl defending Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire champion and Oklahoma native Christopher Bell and NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series regular Kyle Larson to be the primary sponsor on each of their cars for the 2018 Chili Bowl. The partnership will introduce iRacing.com to the legions of dirt midget fans who will be watching this year’s event.


The Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire is held annually at the Tulsa Expo Center in January and is regarded as the “Biggest Midget Race of the Year”. The temporary, indoor dirt track is as unique as the event itself which draws hundreds of the best dirt Midget drivers from across the globe each year. Past winners of the multi-day race event include Christopher Bell, Rico Abreu, Bryan Clauson, Kevin Swindell and Tony Stewart.

Bell, Abreu and Stewart are all avid iRacing members, frequently found online racing when they are not racing in the real world and Bell and Abreu were heavily involved in the development of dirt oval racing on iRacing – providing invaluable feedback on the unique characteristics of dirt oval racing surfaces as well as the cars they race – including Midgets and Sprint Cars.




“It’s exciting to finally have Midgets in iRacing” says Kyle Larson. “The fact that we’ll soon be able to run the Chili Bowl virtually is pretty sweet! I can’t wait to run that track whenever I want! It’s been a great working with iRacing and having them on my car for this event. Finally got some unpacking done and booted up for the first time since October.

GRC is so much fun. I'm still in the rookie series but I was able to pick up a win today. Those races really get the adrenaline going.

I do. You also need to get the crew chief app as well. I turned off my black boxes and it makes the immersion in the rift awesome.

This winter I might have to host a OS League if we have enough people.

What kind of car would you be doing if you did an OS League? I primarily run (dirt) UMP Modifieds, Super and Pro Late Models. I occasionally run the Street stocks, Limited late models and any of the spring car classes but 360's are my favorite.

I'd love to join a Rally cross league. I find those car probably the most fun out of any car on iracing right now.

I'd be open to running pavement like xfinity or truck series. Let me know what you would plan on doing!

Rallycross is the most fun for sure. The midgets are a close second.

I'll have to look into that! I see they added dirt road and oval licenses now, which is nice. I will have to try some races this weekend.
