I cannot get over how awesome the controller haptics are implemented on PS5. You feel every bump in the road, and you feel your car’s tires fight for grip on the road as you push your machine to its limits.

I can’t recall another console game where I improved at the game by feeling and responding to the controller vibration. It’s so well done. This might be the first “only possible on PS5” game.

Right with you. I have a nice sim rig for simracing on my PC, but I love this game for what it delivers and the controls are excellent. Wheel definitely not a requirement to enjoy the game.

There's very few games anymore that are Day 1 purchases for me. This is one of them!

Re: Gran Turismo 7 Review - A Legacy of Love on Display

I can't stop playing this game! Having a blast going through the menu books. I have a car tuned for daily race B that allows me to be competitive and actually win some online races. Even if I don't there are always 2 or 3 others that have similar speed as me so I'm competing with them regardless.

Besides the menu books there is so so much to do. The social media like profile page is cool once I figured out how to edit it. In game money is very quick and easy to acquire. There's one race that you can win 45k in a little over 4min time so if you're in dire need or want some quick cash for that racing part you're wanting it's easy to get.

Add me (DarthRambo317)! I want to have more on my friends list to see their mission times and all of that. Also still want to have a good lobby at some point with others for good hard clean racing.

This game as an absolute joy. The “grind” to make money and upgrade your cars is anything but a grind. The game throws so many different scenarios at you with cars and tracks. Nothing has gotten old for me yet, and I’m already 40 hours in. Before this game came out I had put 35 hours into Elden Ring. Since the game came out I’ve put about 3 hours into Elden Ring. This game owns my soul at the moment. I’m gonna add all you guys to see how I’m stacking up (on controller on PS5 FWIW). My PSN is [KingCole91].

I'm probably going to eventually give this one a go. I have a bog standard PS4 that yielded a pretty decent performance with GT Sport and my Thrustmaster TX Leather wheel and T3PA pedals, via a Drive Hub adapter. I still imagine GT7 looks pretty good at 1080p, especially if it's still running at 60 FPS?

License IB-10 is a doozy. I tried it for like an hour and couldn't get gold. It's the first license that I've really struggled with.

I was drinking some home made margaritas while attempting National B the other night and it took a few extra tries for gold.

I haven't done the internationals yet but I need to.
