You get a free wheel spin every day you complete your daily workout (26.2 miles or 5k). It can be anywhere from a 1 start to a 6 star. I got a 6 star for today.

I think the best prize i've managed was an engine.

I have won an SRT Viper and an RX-8 from these spins, so it is possible to win cars!

The vast majority of the time it’s just money though.

Enjoying the game so far. I like how there are a variety of things to do, so it keeps staying fresh.

I will do some cafe missions for bit, try to improve times on other mission challenges, licenses, trying out different cars to meet the requirements for races. It keeps you invested.

I have recently turned off the assists, to get a better immersion for the experience. I’m on menu book 19, car collected 12.

I also won an RX8. Won two other cars as well so far. One was a nice Jaguar, I think grade 4. Won a few parts as well and the rest credits.

I do wish the game told you specifically how y I acquired every car instead of just the gift I on highlighted.

Guess my luck at GT roulette is a good example of why i don't gamble in real life.

It's really unfortunate that those roulettes are rigged in such a way. You really don't get them all that often so I don't see how making it an actual 20% chance for any individual reward would break the economy. Well, the game's economy. It would hurt the company's microtransaction sales of course.

I am reading on the Gran Turismo subreddit Discord channel that one may improve their prize roulette wheel luck by increasing collector level. Not sure if that’s true or not, but just one point of data about it at least.

Makes sense, I feel like the amounts I’ve been getting has been getting bigger and bigger. I even got a 500,000 before the 1mil. I’m car collector level 28 btw.

If true then I wonder at what level it really starts to take effect.

I'm at level 20. I haven't physically charted all of my rewards, but I think this is pretty accurate because I very quickly noticed how it was always the lowest gold that I landed on.

                        2 cars
                        3 car parts
3 times with the medium gold
The rest have all been the lowest gold

My last roulette featured some kind of Porsche sign (a 4* roulette). I obviously did not get it, but I do wonder what it was for.

Fellas don’t laugh I’m new to this series. But can I change the tires on a car? I’m trying to do a race and it’s telling me I need different tires to compete? Does that sound right?

                          Thanks in advance.

Yup! You can buy new tires for your car in the upgrade shop at the bottom of the map, and then there’s a menu before you enter the race which will allow you to quickly swap out tires.

So far I’ve only seen dirt tire requirements for rally races on dirt tracks but I think there are also races which require racing slicks.

The badges on the roulette wheel are invitations to make purchases at specific manufacturers. Some cars in the new car shop require possession of an invitation for the opportunity to purchase. For example, the Bugatti Veyron.

Apparently if you sign in with your PSN ID at Gran-Turismo.com you can upload SVG graphics to use as livery decals.
