I think it took me about 10 tries. I ran it once and got extremely close and thought "okay I should be able to get the gold easy for this one" but I was wrong about that. I kept getting worse.

Some of them that should be hard have been easy and some of them that should be easier have been hard.

Anyone have any favorite cars so far?

I'm still a long way from really putting a lot of cars through their paces, but the so far for me it's the '94 Skyline. It's fun to drive at stock, and even fully upgraded it never really gets away from you. It has good acceleration and it takes corners very tightly.

If anyone is in dire need of money the Daytona pickup truck is an easy $45k in just under 5 minutes. I recommend spending a little money to beef up your truck to drive down your lap time a bit and just make things easy overall. There are probably some more efficient races out there, but this one is so easy that I almost don't have to pay attention.

I’m really enjoying a lot of the Japanese cars, no surprise. So far my favorite has been the ‘23 Nissan Z. Car is just beautiful inside and out. Also has 399 HP stock which doesn’t hurt. As far as easy money goes, I have 2 very good suggestions. First is Stage Route X in USA. Takes about 5 minutes and just drive in a straight line. It’s very boring but pays 67k for a clean race if I remember correctly. The second one and the best one in my opinion is the High Speed Ring in Japan. It takes about 6 minutes at most, but you get a cool 97.5k with a clean race.

It would hurt the company's microtransaction sales of course.
I have yet to get a car or big money from one of these roulette tickets. All I get is either one of the two lower money stacks or a part for a car I don't even own. I don't know if they're rigged but it certainly feels that way.

The best ticket I've gotten, though, is a 4-star. The daily workouts seem to only give me a 1-star ticket or a 4-star ticket.

I've been okay on money so far, regardless, but I haven't been churning much profit lately because I keep having to tune my vehicles. I'm guessing the game doesn't expect you to chase those menu books constantly, but that's pretty much all I've been doing.

I got a big money on my 2nd ticket. Everything else has been small money or parts.

I haven't settled on a favorite car yet but one that I've enjoyed a lot so far is the Camaro ZL1 1LE i just like the way it handles even with minimal tuning. I do have cars that i really like though Lancer Evo '99 (my GT3 Fav) and just bought the '65 Shelby GT350.

Since I'm not very good yet, I'm still stuck doing daily races with these bums who just go around slamming into cars. Meanwhile here I am with my S safety rating getting knocked into walls and off the track. I did manage to get my first fastest lap award from Race A yesterday.

I also don’t have a favorite car yet, I’m still working through the Menus, but several have stood out to me:

                    - regardless of racing game, I will always put a healthy amount of time behind the wheel of the original model Dodge Viper GTS. My inner ten year old never died lol.

                    - that SRT Viper I painted in UVA colors above, though? Somehow I built a rear wheel drive car that dramatically understeers. Not a fan of how that one has turned out, need to take it back to the garage and start the build over lol.

                    - the 2017 Nissan Skyline is a beast of a car. It has some stability problems at high speeds and IMO is pretty temperamental in general, though.

                    - the Porsche 911 GT3 is extremely unforgiving of mistakes even with a significant number of assists enabled, but if you can handle it you will probably outpace just about anything.

                    - the Chevy Camaro ZL-1 defies aerodynamics. I souped one of those up and got it approaching 220 on Special Stage Route X (the giant oval).

                    - the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo is historically a great car in Gran Turismo and that’s still the case in this game. It’s a very friendly car to drive and it can perform.

                    - the Porsche Taycan needs to be launched into the sun. The Ever Given has better steering.

Mine is and always will be the Camaro SS. Camaro has always been my fav car in real life. I get the yellow one, like Bumblebee lol.

The photo and scapes mode in this game are probably the best I’ve ever seen

I like how the Café works in this game. Events and objectives are given to you a little at a time rather than dumping a bunch of objectives on you at once. Years ago that sort of thing didn't bother me but the older I get the more my brain hates it even if a game lets you toggle them on and off.

I haven't played too much but my collector rank is 10 and I only have about $400K saved up. I've had to purchase some upgrades for vehicles received playing Café because the rolling starts have made it harder for me to complete some of the objectives in 1st place.
The only car I've spent money on so far is a Mustang GT 350 and that's just because I like them so much.

These are compressed a few times between my PS5 to GroupMe to IMGUR to here but I snapped a few pictures last night.

Pics of my Seattle Mariners inspired racing suit/helmet and pic of my banged up Porsche after spinning out in the rain on the Nürburgring.

The suit was a happy accident i had only done the colors then it hit me that they were Mariners colors so added the logo to the helmet.

I know the lack of a full damage model bothers some people but it's just one of those areas where i can right it off as, its just how GT games are.17f939fadb625-screenshotUrl.jpeg17f939f416b53-screenshotUrl.jpeg
