Guys (gals?), just be aware that MANY MANY MANY games- including 90% of the ones I have worked on- go thru growing pains. It's called the creative process. Sometimes those pains are so bad that you don't think you can go on (GOD OF WAR, in my case), sometimes they are not that bad. BUT just because you hear about a game that is (or WAS) struggling thru the process, doesn't mean ANYTHING. That is the process for much of the time. Hell, they KILLED the first draft of HALF LIFE and started again...how many times did they push back ZELDA (which ZELDA? Hell, how about MOST of them)...you REALLY think it was to 'give the game more polish and give gamers the game the deserve'? Well sure it was, but you also never stopped to think that the extra time was needed because the game didn't sail thru the dev. process like butter in the first place?

So just because some disgruntled ex-worker- who thought the game should have been made HIS way- is now getting his 15 minutes by spouting off to some news source, does not mean he is bringing any meat to the table in terms of valid information. It may be TRUE information in terms of a game having been down a tough road, but again- that is par for the course.

Where in that rant does it say "This isn NOT true, WarHawk is definitely NOT cancelled?"

Jaffe has been spinning his AS$ off on the GAF threads but still hasn't commited to sqashing the rumor in definitive terms. He's got his opinon on the rumor just like everyone else...no surprise that his view is from the pro-Sony stance, but I don't think he really knows either.

With all due respect, and remember, I'm saying this with all due respect, lol... it's probably well warranted. I think I have videogame ADHD.. I can't keep my mind on one thing long enough, and I just jump from one thing to the next here lately, lol.

It has nothing to do with being pro-Sony... Jaffe made Incognito (the makers of Warhawk) what it is today. I think he knows a thing or two about whats going on there, no?

Jaffe still works pretty close with the team..So if anyone knows what he's talking about its him.. If you read both his posts he all but puts the canceled rumor to bed, even joystiq updated their article with his post.

A question for those with the PS3. What is the "System Data" download available in the Playstation Store? I know that it is for the PS2 or has something to do with it, but what exactly does it do/

I believe that allows you to use the PS3 harddrive to emulate the PS2 harddrive for games like Final Fantasy among a few others.

Bogus or not bogus?: Bogus that Warhawk has been canned or sent to the PlayStation Store. Not bogus that the air-combat game has experienced the same sort of development turbulence that many games do.

Anybody else having problems with the Playstation Network?

I keep getting an error everytime I try to get on and then it comes up and says that I have been disconnected from my access point.

Help please!
