Is 'Calling All Cars' in the store yet? I saw the review on IGN but haven't had my PS3 on in several days to check (though I'll turn it on this afternoon to grab that 'Sigma' demo).

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
I don't consider an hour a long time, so it doesn't hold a lot of ground with me as a reason not to update. There are features they include in these updates but it doesn't mean everyone will take advantage of them or even care there are new features for that matter. Some of you figure it would be a waste of your time to update, and it likely is if that's the way you feel.
I don't have blazing internet, I have comcast and I never considered them blazing. Don't most of you guys have comcast? What kind of internet are you packing?Comment

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
I agree. There aren't a lot of good PS3 games to play right now. And like you, I'm mainly using my PS3 for Blu Ray movies and PS2 gaming. In fact I bought God of War the day I bought my PS3 and just finished it last night (damn good game, need to pick up GOW2 now).
I updated to 1.70 just because I could and there have been zero problems since the update.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
I have blazing speed with everything else, but the PSN. I can get a 1 gig file off XBL in under 30 mins easily, most of the time under 15 mins. I can't get anything off of PSN. I downloaded a 50MB movie trailer and it took me over an hour. I long gave up on PSN for downloads.I don't consider an hour a long time, so it doesn't hold a lot of ground with me as a reason not to update. Man that has to suck. My XBL and my PS3 download speeds are the same. Nothing has taken more than 20 Minutes to get off PSN for me. HAve not tried to get sigma yet. It could be due to the fact that I do not try and get demos the second they are released.Actually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. ShaverComment

Sigma Impressions:
Well i've had a chance to download and play Sigma. Awesome port of the Xbox version. Honestly though I fired up the 360 enhanced version and played the PS3 version. There is a noticeable difference but I don't know if it's worth $60. The enhanced 360 version doesn't look too shabby either.
Back to Sigma the controls are tight, pulling crazy combos are not hard using the PS3 controller. The one knock with the controller scheme and i'll have to see if I can change it is that your attack and interact moves are both used by the square button. It gets pretty annoying fighting a bunch of baddies while standing next to a door or chest only to get pulled away from the fight.
Other than that, those who have never played Ninja Gaiden will be very pleased with the game. Lack of rumble kinda sux for me. You can shake the PS3 controller to make it do some special move didn't get to use it yet.
If you owned the original and N.G. Black there's not a whole lot different to the game than what is on the Xbox or BC version for the 360. It feels like deja vu all over again.Comment

May 3rd could be a very good day... especially if they release a demo for MLB The Show as well.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
Sigma is just sick!! I mean just sick!!. And the best thing for me is that I never owned an Xbox so I have never played this game. Always wanted to, but refused to buy a system for just one game.
Man.. I cannot wait until June so that I can play more of this game.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
PSP and PS3 owners the relationship get a little more intimate. Now you can download your PSone games for PSP/PS3. The beauty of it is, you can play the game on your PS3, save the file, transfer the game and save to your PSP and now play on the go. Their are a few titles in the PS store, and if you previously bought a PSP title and DL to your PSP, you can know use it on your PS3 with no additional charge(check your download list). So good classic PSone games are up now.Comment
