Thanks, that worked liked a charm.

I've just finished playing the MLB 2K7 demo and I'm glad I did, as it's confirmed my decision not to buy it. Anyone know for sure if a demo will be released for The Show?

Kolbe from SCEA wants to put one out but not until the game releases.

        Super Stardust HD (PS3)

When it comes to game developers in Finland, most gamers probably think of Remedy, responsible for the first two Max Payne games and the upcoming Alan Wake, or Bugbear Entertainment, developer of the FlatOut franchise. With 12 years under its belt, the Helsinki based Housemarque has been around longer than both of those, making hardcore shoot 'em ups like Stardust and The Reap on Amiga and PC. In the last few years, Housemarque has done work on TransWorld Snowboarding for Atari and helped program part of Guerrilla's Killzone: Liberation.

This summer, Housemarque will get back to its roots with a hardcore shooter that may interest fans of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and Blast Factor. Like Blast Factor, Super Stardust HD will be on the PlayStation Network, though we don't have confirmation on a U.S. release at this time, so here's hoping it doesn't end up a Europe-only release.

In the game you control a tiny spacecraft that hovers over planets. Your mission is simple: destroy everything in sight. The ship has three different weapons, each of which has a different impact on the various asteroids and ice crystals floating around. For example, while some weapons are able to break asteroids more effectively than others, they create far more debris as well. After blowing up enough asteroids and crystals, enemies appear -- once you eliminate those, you move onto the next phase. Each planet has five phases, with the last featuring a boss battle.

We'll have to wait until we get some hands-on time with Super Stardust HD before we can remark on whether there is any depth beneath the seemingly simple gameplay surface.

Mortal Kombat II available in the Playstation Store tomorrow

Midway's infamous bloody brawler dated for download on PlayStation Network on April 12 for $4.99.

The PlayStation Network may still be in its younger days, but it's about to grow up very quickly. Sony Online Entertainment previously announced that it would be prepping half a dozen of Midway's arcade classics for download on the PlayStation 3 online store, one of them being the ultraviolent Mortal Kombat II.

Last month, the game was spotted on Station.com, SOE's Web site, with a March release date. The month went by without a single spine-yanking or decapitation on the PS3, but April will be different. SOE today confirmed that MKII will be available for download on the PlayStation Network for $4.99 on April 12.

MKII features 12 playable characters and 10 levels, such as The Dead Pool and The Pit. In addition to the series' famed fatalities, MKII adds the reverse-aging babalities and the cutesy friendships. Gamers can bust each others' skulls online, and a dedicated leaderboard will track wins.

Mortal Kombat II is rated M for Mature. For more information, read GameSpot's previous coverage.

I'll be picking MK II up for sure. For $5 and it includes online play. Oh hell yeah!

anyone know what is supposed to be in tomorrows update?

I am hoping their is a MLB 07 The Show demo, but chances of that are slim and none.
