Can anyone help me get the memory card adapter thing to work? I'm trying to copy my MLB 2007 The Show off my PS2 memory card to my PS3 internal memory card. I go to the Memory Card Utility menu on the PS3, then I can see all my saves on my PS2 card, but I can't figure out how to copy them off. The PS3 manual says you should be able to press X and something will happen, but nothing is. Anyone?

I have never used it, but did you try to hit triangle? I think that's the button that will bring up the delete/copy options when working with the PS3 folders. Can anyone help me get the memory card adapter thing to work? LOL, that was easy enough. I could have sworn I press every button on the controller. I guess everyone but the triangle. Thanks!

Make sure you go to the game menu and then scroll up to the ps2/ps1 memory cards and press x. You should see your memory card adapter. Highlight your mem card adapter and press triangle this will bring you your sub menu and you should be able to copy from their, considering your files are compatible. Can anyone help me get the memory card adapter thing to work? Thanks, I got it working. It's pretty nice that they have built in memory cards so that you just transfer it one time and just go from there. On the Wii you have to use your gamecube card everytime.Make sure you go to the game menu and then scroll up to the ps2/ps1 memory cards and press x. You should see your memory card adapter. Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
I'm glad that Undefeated and SLAYER made a posts here on OS mentioning the 5 free Blu-ray DVDs you can get with the purchase of a PS3. There was no mention of it within my PS3, so luckily I remembered the post and found the order form online to mail in.

The PS3 manual sucks pretty bad. LOL.
Anyway, anyone know how the web browser works? I can only view the PS Store in there. How do I use it to view other websites or visit OS?

I used it last night and visited other sites. You click the right shoulder button I think and it opens a menu on the right side of the screen. From there you can enter in web addresses. I like the PS3 browser better than the Wii one.

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
I noticed that my PS3 gets pretty hot after about an hour or so of gaming. It has plenty of room to properly ventilate, so I am not sure if this is normal or not.
I haven't heard of any units overheating, but then again that doesn't mean that it does not happen. Does anyone recommend the intercooler for PS3? Or am I just being a bit too nervous because of my 360 crapping out on me recently?Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
Mine does the same thing. It'd be interesting to hear from others to know if theirs get hot too. It doesn't worry me too much though as the casing getting hot mean the heat is dissipating.I noticed that my PS3 gets pretty hot after about an hour or so of gaming. Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
Depending on the time of year my PS3 runs pretty hot as well. The advantage the PS3 has over the 360 is "ventilation". It has more vents and a variable speed fan when the temps in the PS3 start to climb.
Just to be on the safe side I installed the Pelican cooler and I like it. It blows out more hot air from the top and I notice my DVD's are cooler when I take them out. The other bonus of the Pelican air cooler is that it uses an external power supply and it perfectly matches the PS3.Comment

I clicked every button on the controller and still nothing. Are you able to go on OS?
Anyone buy the keyboard for their PS3? Does that make it easier?Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"
