It only happened when d/l demos or games off of PSN, during MP everything was fine.

That's weird, but I had the SAME problem with XBL when I had my 360. Playing online would run lag free, but when it came to d/ling it would be slow.

Isn't that crazy? I never had any problems when I had the 360 for D/l or online gaming, but it was connected via a cat5.

Damn I should've looked through this thread earlier, now I'm gonna be up for hours playing Marvel vs. Capcom.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

                  .deTuned Announced

Today on the official PlayStation Blog, Senior Producer at Sony Santa Monica Studios Rusty Buchert made a post announcing a new project from .theprodukkt. Titled .deTuned, this experimental software will let players create custom visuals to music from their XMB and even augment the audio in the process. The premise sounds incredibly appealing, so we're eager for more details.

For now, check out these zany screenshots that show off the game's mysterious style.

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux

I just purchased a Motorola SBG 900 Surfboard Gateway cable modem/wireless G router as well as an HP Touch Smart 816 with Windows Vista home premium 64-bit. I'm having problems conneting with the Playstation Network and am unsure of how to configure the wireless router. There are certain ports the SBG900 needs to have forwarded (80, 443, 5223, 3478-3479 and 3658 ports). I've followed step by step the instructions from PortForward.com and use the custom wireless setup on the PS3. It obtains the IP address and says I have an internet connection, but when it comes to the PSN setting, it times out and the test fails. Any help would be appreciated.

                        Thanks.

I just moved and am trying to reestablish an internet connection on my PS3. When I test the connection, it doesn't obtain an IP address. It gets timed out.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Does your wireless work on a laptop?

Wireless or wired? Did you changed ISP's?
