New update sounds great. The fact they'll have Cloud support is awesome. Makes bringing your gamertag and saves to a friend's house an ease.

Does "cloud" mean that we will no longer have to depend on our Hard drive?

With the Release of Rayman Origins, I got to thinking are there any "platformers" that stand out on XBLA and Indie Game market?

          Thanks

I have played Braid and Earthworm Jim (blast from the past).

Whatever saves you choose to put on the cloud will sync with your hardrive, so (1) your saves will be backed up on the cloud and (2) you can access your saves (and live profile) from any xbox.

I'm pretty sure you still need to have a local storage device (hardrive or flash) to save your games, since the cloud storage just syncs the saves that are stored locally.

It's great if you have more than 1 xbox in the house.

Outland. It released earlier this year and I think its 800 points. Was cheaper a few weeks back when it was on sale.

eh, i couldn't care less about cloud saving. I got a 16 GB usb stick that I can carry to a friend's house with my profile, saves, and tons of XBLA games on it without downloading anything. Plus, whenever I've had to recover my profile off Live, it's taken like 30 minutes.

Some fun Indie games you all may have missed:

Angry Fish (angry bird type game with fish)

Firing Range (target shooting game, with great graphics)

So I cannot get ESPN 3 to work on my 360. I have Time Warner but it is saying that my internet doesn't carry ESPN 3. This is really frustrating me now. Can anyone help me out?

Does it work on your PC? If it doesn't work there then you just aren't eligible to get it. Which would be surprising with TWC.

Unrelated, do you still have to buy points in bulk? I have 160 on my account, and need to get to 400. I am cheap and don't want to buy 400 more rendering the 160 I currently have useless.

Works fine on my PC, but doesn't work on my 360. I've pretty much given up on it though.

I'm on Time Warner as well, for some reason they just aren't letting you do it. It was supposed to be up sometime in the summer but then I never heard more about it. Google time warner xbox and there's a bunch of posts that are mostly older about people calling them and being told"it'll be up at the end of the month" for the last year or so.
