Yeah, with the net showing TV and Netflix on my 360, I'm actually tempted to drop my TV service. I can watch ESPN on ESPN360.com, so that's solved, every TV show is online, and most are on Netflix. Really wondering why I'm paying for something I could use for free in other ways.

Well, Summer of Arcade ruled. I bought and loved Trials HD, Shadow Complex, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and TMNT Re-Shelled. Wasn't a huge fan of 'Splosion Man, but with the buy all 5 and get 800 points back deal, I bought it this morning. It's free, so why not.Comment

ToeJam & Earl Coming to Xbox Live Arcade
When it was announced Gameloft would be publishing a new Earthworm Jim title, SEGA had to make a slight modification to its 20th Anniversary poll for deciding what classic Genesis game would be coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Apparently the company lost the publishing rights and didn't know about it.
But after a re-do, SEGA finally managed to find a winner.
Coming soon to Xbox Live will be the classic co-operative action game ToeJam & Earl.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Awesome. Me and my friends used to play that all the time when it first came out. May need to pick it up to relive some nostalgia.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Yeah, I use it now to get local's in HD, all 4 of my HDTV's have built in tuners, so they all pull in OTA signals. Picture is usually better than what you're getting from a provider anyway.Comment

TeamXbox: Peggle Nights Hands-On Preview
The 60 new levels (against the Peggle Masters you are already familiar with) offer up more visual refreshment than anything. Nothing majorly new has been added to the gameplay, with the exception of some new style shots making their way over from the PC version. There’s also a brand-new Peggle Master, who comes with her very own special function that we’ll talk about in a minute. However, what you’re really getting from Peggle Nights is a lot of new backgrounds, all with a nighttime theme, set behind new peg boards featuring different shapes. While the content is new, the gameplay is thankfully unchanged.
As noted, there’s one fairly decent exception: the new Peggle Master named Marina brings a new special power to the table, and therefore a new way to strategize your peg-clearing efforts. A purple squid by birth, Marina’s levels have a more nautical theme, though her power is something you would expect more from an eel or ray than a cephalod. I may be wrong about that—it’s been awhile since I watched Animal Planet.
Marina’s attack—activated as usual by striking one of the green pegs—is an electric charge attack. It’s a lightning bolt, if you will, that arcs together from where your next shot hits a peg to where the moving bucket is at the time the ball is hit. You can take out large sections of pegs, especially by stretching the bolt diagonally across the board. The attack is also great for hitting pegs that are hard to get to or behind some sort of obstacle. Plus, it goes “zap” real good.

Finally, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is coming to XBLA.
2K to Publish Two Games Exclusively for Xbox LIVE Arcade
2K Play, a division of 2K, today announced that it will bring two, original independent video games, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Axel & Pixel, exclusively to Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is an innovative game that follows the escapades of a mischievous, time-bending pie thief. Axel & Pixel is a beautiful, point-and-click adventure about a painter trapped in a lush dream landscape. Both titles embody the independent spirit of originality, individuality and fun, and will be available for consumers to play for the first time at the 2009 Penny Arcade Expo that is being held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center (South lobby, space S2) in Seattle, Wash. on September 4 – 6, 2009.
The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Axel & Pixel underscore 2K’s ongoing commitment to bring uniquely entertaining video games to the marketplace, while nurturing the independent creative spirit found within their developers and partners. From original new intellectual properties to bestselling franchises, 2K has a track record of creating enthralling and commercially successful titles.
“At 2K, we look to support talented independent video game developers and discover ways of bringing their work to the mass market,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Axel & Pixel are passion projects for us. We saw the potential and the talent in these two unique and bold concepts, and are thrilled to be able to provide these developers with the support to create compelling games without altering their distinct visions.”
The Odd Gentlemen, a developer headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif., originally created The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom as a student thesis project at the University of Southern California. The game chronicles the villainous P.B. Winterbottom’s quest as he swipes pies using his extraordinary time-bending abilities to cooperate with, compete against, and disrupt his past, present, and future selves. Set in a macabre and comical silent film world, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom has garnered several independent awards and nominations from IGN.com, GameSpot and the Independent Games Festival for its unique art style and inventive gameplay mechanics. The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 in early 2010.
Axel & Pixel tells the story of Axel the artist and his dog Pixel as they embark on a fantastic journey through the surreal and dangerous Dream World. Combining simple point-and-click gameplay and a beautiful hand-drawn environment, the game is truly unique. Axel & Pixel is being developed by Silver Wish Games, a small team based in the Czech Republic and will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 in fall 2009.

Anyone know of any way to get Free MS Points? I need 200, but I can't buy them from the Marketplace for some odd reason. MS is looking into it and said the problem should be remedied soon. I know sometimes there are promotions for 200 free points. Anyone know of any?Twitter - WTF_OS

Anyone get that Legend of the Tiger or whatever it's called?
From the trial it seems incredibly short,it took 4:11 to go through what I believe was 6 or 7 stages so it's a 10 minute game? I didn't even figure out the running up the tree and stuff until about the 5th stage so even shorter than that. I liked it but 1200 points for a 10 minute game is rediculous.Comment
