Whats up with this "free" Fable 2 game under game downloads, is it the original Fable 2 or some kind of spin off? It says episode 1....

They are releasing Fable 2 in episodes on XBL. So it's Games on Demand, but it's going to have the DLC and what not as well. Changed up a little, but same game.

Any use custom themes with NXE? Like a custom picture from the internet or something. Does it work well?

Someone had a moon picture that was placed perfectly. So when you logged on it looked really cool.

I always use the L4D premium them, but if you do searching you'll find free pictures that have been set up for the NXE dash.

It was in an old OXM.

Has zombies in the background, and on the friends list page there's different zombies and scenes behind each avatar. Like 7 total then repeat.

                  Kotaku: Snoopy Flying Ace Hands-On

Snoopy Flying Ace is a fairly straightforward dogfighting game with a cute, younger-skewing bent to it. In Snoopy Flying Ace, no one dies when their biplane is shot down. No, they parachute to safety, every time. Think of it as a Warhawk for the Peanuts fan.

Control is simple. Aim and steer with the left analog stick. Fire missiles and machine guns with the triggers, mindful that your ship's guns don't overheat. Evasive maneuvers can be performed with the right analog stick, with barrel rolls to the left and right, direction-changing loop de loops mapped to the up and down directions. Snoopy and company can also accelerate or decelerate with two of the face buttons. Enough in the way of control to make things interesting, but not bogged down with something complex.

Snoopy Flying Ace mixes things up with a handful of power-ups scattered about the playfield. As far as we could gather—it was us versus a team of bots—those include items like faster engines, shields and the ability to turn near invisible, courtesy of a ghost shaped pick up.

On the level we played, there were also a few mounted cannons, tucked away in nooks that could be controlled just by flying into them. That made us an easy target for the bots we faced, but the static shooting action made taking down foes much easier.

From the few minutes worth of Snoopy Flying Ace we played, it appears the developer is offering something fun, but not necessarily deep, for Xbox Live Arcade dogfighters. Given the right user base, the game could offer a non-violent alternative to the deathmatch options on XBLA. Or at least give the Peanuts loving inner child something to mess around with.

What happend to Axel & Pixel?

I even checked the US marketplace to make sure since we're missing 3-10 games in Canada for some reason.

the L4D one is what I use.

It was in some OXM issue, but can be had free if you have a memory card and a transfer kit.

Anybody here get the new Military Madness game on 360 Arcade? I usually like good strategy games, but they can sometimes be dicey on consoles. I've never played a Military Madness game either.

What I'm really looking forward to is this one:

Panzer General: Allied Assault. It's supposed to be out around the third week of October.

                          Zeno Clash Confirmed for XBLA

Zeno Clash was an indie darling when it was released on PC earlier this year. The first-person punching game was built with Valve's Source engine and featured satisfying combat and a bizarre story. Xbox 360 gamers will get a chance to see what all the fuss is about when Atlus publishes Zeno Clash on Xbox Live Arcade next spring. Atlus says the XBLA version will be "vastly improved" over the PC original and is naming it Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition. It will boast new modes, new features, and improvements made based on fan feedback. One new feature will be a survival mode called Tower Challenge, which is a co-op mode outside the single-player campaign.
