Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
I'm stashing away $50-$75 a month from now until March so that by the time The Show '11 drops, I'll pick up a PS3 and The Show. Any money left over and I'll grab Uncharted 1 and 2.
Can't wait to be a part of the PS3 experience (once again). I really regret selling it last fall, but at the time I was very strapped for cash."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
yea but will they take psn cards

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Damn it looks like my Fatty 60gig ps3 is dead. I can't get it to turn on for more than a second and it just turns off and flashes a red light constantly. The controllers don't link too it to turn it on and it can only be turned on manually from the console but then shuts of straight away.
I figured it would be on borrowed time (i'd had since they first come out with no major trouble) as it was getting on but the most annoying part is that my copy of fallout: New Vegas is stuck in there and I didn't have a backup save so all my saved games will be lost.
Any idea of what I can do or is it a goner? I tried googling it but it doesn't sound like there's much i can do. I'll have to rip it open at the least to get my game back.Comment

I can tell you though my buddies PS3 just died on him a few weeks ago and he did a youtube fix that worked pretty good. He's been playing since he fixed it himself. Although he knows he's on borrowed time before it dies again. He had to go radio shack to pick up a few tools but really it was worth it just to fix it to get his game out. And I'll tell you....if he can do it...anybody can do it. He's not tech savvy AT ALL. It is just a samll bandaid fix but you can then get your game out and copy as many saves as you can (Uncopyrighted) over to a usb drive. Hope all goes well.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. For those looking at the Black Friday ads, what would you say is the best PS3 deal so far?Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
I think the Best Buy one right now looks good, you get an extra dual shock controller for free. I thought I saw someone giving away 2-3 games with the system, but do not remember if I saw that or not.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Didn't see the extra controller at Best Buy, but I saw it with Targert's ad.Comment

Yeah, Target has the extra controller and a $10 Gift Card, but it also has TFU II and Prince of Perisa Blu-Ray and I want neither.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Cyros, you have to look at it this way my man. You are getting all that other stuff for free so it can be trade bait or ebay listing. The thing is that you will not find the system new on BF any less than $299 so might as well get it with this other stuff and sell the stuff..........unless the Target deal is more enticing with the free controller _ $10 GC.Comment

Oh, I'm not expecting less than $299, just looking for the right pack-ins. Do you think Amazon will have anything?Comment
