Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Getting a new Slim.
I'm hoping Future Shop holds up with this 320GB Slim w/ Uncharted 2, ModNation Racers, Alice In Wonderland Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray remote for 299 and that it isn't sold out either. If I can't get that then I'm probably getting the Killzone 3 160GB bundle and Best Buy throws in a free Bioshock 2.
Also after I get the system BB has a 2 for 40 Greatest Hits deal, so I'm probably going to end up grabbing Heavy Rain and something else.
I just can't wait to finally make the switch to PS3. I've been waiting about a year to do it and now I finally can.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

So I'm not sure if it's just those 6 games or not. I think it is and if that's the case then I'll probably just get that UC2 GOTY edition and buy UC1 later. I just won't play UC2 until I get UC1, lol.

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Yep. Played it and beat it. It was decent, but not as good as it should have been.
Also, not much interest in Borderlands even though I've heard it's good and I am really interested in GOW III, but I still need to beat the 2nd one so I'm going to eventually get the GOW Collection before I get that. I barely remember what happened after beating the 1st one, lol.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

That's definitely what I want to get, I'm just not sure that's part of the deal. This is what Best Buy has:

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Here's a blog about it:
July 30th Update: The content per month isn't determined as day one content and is content that will be made available through the month. PlayStation Nation -- First off, thank you for all of your feedback regarding PlayStation Plus. There have been a lot of comments and questions surrounding some of the details of the [...]
It looks pretty solid to me, but if you just want to be able to play your games online then I wouldn't worry about it.
It'd probably be best to wait for someone who has used it to give you the heads up on whether or not it's worth it though.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Not sure how this stacks up with their past deals for each month, but here's what they're doing this month:
PlayStation Plus subscribers will continue to get preferential treatment over the next couple weeks. On March 8, a demo for Mortal Kombat will be available exclusively for PS Plus subscribers. The demo will only be available for one week before it’s taken down. Set time aside to download it because it won’t download automatically like some demos. Sony will also reveal the winners of the first PSN Gamers’ Choice Awards on that day. PS Plus subscribers will receive a 50% discount on all the winners. The featured PSone classic for the week will be Mega Man 3. It will cost $3.00 for PS Plus subscribers.
The following week on March 15, full game trials for MAG and Prince of Persia will be made available. Other offerings include discounted avatars and themes.
The list of PS Plus content for March 8-15 is below. Also check out this week’s PlayStation Store update.

I love PS Plus. You get quite a few free games. I'm big on trophies and download the free games to get more trophies. You also get some PS1 and mini games that you can put on your PSP. I think it pays for itself in a couple of months. I don't regret it. It's just all in how many games you play.
