                Yeah I really didn't intend to get a PS3 until yesterday so I didn't really research many PS3 games. I just got Juiced 2 and so far I really like it. But since you recommend Uncharted then I'll check into it.

The only time I close it is when my 10 month old daughter tries to get at it. Then I close it and don't play too much longer.

                                Count me in as another PS3 convert. I have had some problems as of late with my 360. I got the RROD about 2 months ago, but disconnected and reconnected the AV cables and everything has worked fine since. About 3 weeks ago I started getting disc read/dirty disc error messages even though all of my discs are 100% clean and always taken care of. I did exchange NHL 08 for a new disc a week or so ago and I thought that had taken care of things. It didn't.

                                I started getting the disc read error messages again this weekend, culminating with yet another RROD yestersday. I do have the extended warranty, so I went into Best Buy to make the swap. The were completely out of all 360 systems, and the guy at he customer service counter (who happens to be a friend of mine) said they can't keep any in stock as they all go out right away as replacement units. He said they still see a big return rate on the 360's.

                                So I made a decision...after now 3 bad experiences, I decided to make a change and went with the PS3. I got a full in-store credit for my 360, and my buddy transferred my extended warranty over to the new PS3 (even though PS3's have less than a 1% failure rate). I had a Best Buy gift card from Xmas, so none of this cost me a cent out of pocket.

                                I took my 360 games and accessories and traded them in (got $20 extra in trade due to an in-store trade promotion going on at Gamestop) --- was able to pick up NHL 08, Ratchet and Clank, and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga with my credit.

                                        Maybe, I haven't seen it done yet. You can use the Xbox camera on the PS3 though.

                                                Yep. Just about any USB webcam will work on the PS3 from what I read.

                                                    I got an 80gig ps3. I'm letting the 360 go once I get it repaired. This is my first 360 and after reading how prevalent the problem is with RROD I am cutting my losses and moving on.


                                                    What the repair process like for PS3 or is it even really an issue.

                                                        They will work but I bet it wont with most games. The free download of a picture editor on PS3 requires the new camera. Won't even work with the old Playstation eye camera.
