ok, well now i understand why people keep asking for custom soundtracks in games. i always thought, why is that something people make such a big deal out of when you can just stream whatever music you want (360)?

It depends on the game ODOGG. I know Super Stardust HD had custom soundtracks because I used it one.

So, what's on the PSN? Are there vintage arcade games like on XBLA? I'm thinking of games like Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter, etc.

Yeah, there's a bunch of old PSOne games on there. Couldn't give you an exact number, but there's a good amount.

but they all cost $$$ right? i just looked around a bit last night and it looked like it all cost $$$ for those old games. Like $5.99 or $9.99

Unfortunately, yes, but I'd rather pay for the one or two games I want, and the additional content than have to pay a monthly fee
. I don't DL that many, so to me, I can't justify paying a constant fee for it.

So I got this REMOTE PLAY working on my PS3/PSP. It's cool because I have my PS3 hooked to my PC. And i'm sitting here playing "adult" videos on my PSP, which is hooked via wireless to my PS3, which is hooked to my PC thru my router. THIS IS MADNESS!! Wow, how crazy is this??!!

I can't get any games to work though. Do games simply not work with Remote Play? Is it only to use your PS3 for videos, pictures and music and not games?

New ps3 owners make sure you put you psn names in your profile. A bunch of us will add you when you do. The friends list is only at 50 at the moment but supposedly the next firmware will let it go to 100 friends.

btw i saw socom: fire team bravo in the ps store, can i download it to the ps3 and play it on ps3? i don't have a psp.

PSOne games are one thing, but vintage arcade games are a whole different thing. Another question: can you play your iPod on your PS3?

Play it directly? Not that I'm aware of. I just transferred over all of my mp3's. The music player sucks though. There is no way (that I have found at least) that you can just hit shuffle and let all the songs shuffle through. It's just pick a group and listen.

The ps3 can handle it but you know Sony wants you to buy a psp too.

That sucks, although I've only used my 360 to play my iPod once. While playing GTA the other day, it locked up, which pushed me toward trading everything in for an investment in the PS3.
