The first thing I did when I came back was resubscribe to the Blockbuster game pass. I rented Killzone for a few days, followed by GH Metallica for another few days and now I'm working on HAWX.... I purchased MLB The Show as well... I'm just trying to catch up on all the games I missed last month. I think I'll get RE5 next. hehe. Man I love this game pass.

As for GH Metallica, I think I might just purchase that whenver I can find it cheap. I really liked the setlist on that one, and Expert + drums seems like a challenge I want to master sometime.

Do you like Game Pass better than Gamefly? I've been considering joining one of these programs.

Heck yeah. I actually subscribed to the Combo pass, which is a combination of the movies and games pass, so basically I can rent anything in the store (including Blu Ray films!) with the subscription. The advantage over G-fly is being able to try multiple games in a single day rather than waiting for another game to come in the mail.

The blockbuster that I live by has a Game Rush store, so they're REALLY good at having all the games in stock. If your store is consistent in having games available, I say by all means go for it.

It's 21.99 a month for one at a time for either the combo pass or the game pass. You get your money's worth after 3 games.

Do they offer a 2 out at a time pass for games only and if so whats the price on that? Im using Gamefly but Blockbuster is right by my work so the idea that I could easily exchange games quickly without having to rely on a queue and crossing my fingers that I get what I want is very appealing. Now Im paying 22.95 for Gamefly but I would imagine it would be a little more for Blockbuster but not sure how much.

They do offer a two-at-a-time but I'm not sure on how much it is. You're right that it would be definitely more than G-Fly.

When I went to resubscribe a couple of weeks ago after canceling for my vacation, the guy at the register told me that the combo pass was the same price as the game pass... I had originally subscribed to the games pass, so I had no idea that the combo pass existed... I suggest going for the combo pass over the game pass IF you know for sure your store is doing it for the same price. You never know when you're going to get a movie, ya know?

I guess another thing to know is that the subscription only works for one store.

The procedure for renting games now is much simpler. Just walk in the store with your old game, grab ANOTHER game off the shelf that you want, then walk up to the counter with BOTH games. They'll swap the games for you and you're done. No need to show ID, Blockbuster card, or carry cash (since it's prepaid).

Ive got a problem and Im hoping someone here has had it happen and can explain if there is something I can do to fix it. Im playing COD: WAW and I just unlocked "The Sword is Broken" trophy for beating it on veteran but when accessing my card it doesnt show it nor does it add it to my total number of trophies. Now if go over to the game area and click on "Tropy Collection" and then COD I can clearly see the trophy there as being unlocked. Why is it acknowledging that I got it one way but not adding it to my card at all? I should be at 106 trophies yet Im still at 105 according to my card and it wont let me synch it again apparently yet it shows I have it in the trophy collection part. Why the hell cant anything be simple anymore, everything has to be a giant pain in the ***.

EDIT- Well apparently the idiots over at Sony cant get this right either. Now Im getting an error code of 80022A07 whenever I try and either compare trophies to someone or I try and synch my own trophies. I dont get why this is happening all of a sudden and nobody seems to know what is causing it either. I guess if this keeps up and has me at 105 trophies for awhile then you might as well cross me off the list for this since it wont be anywhere near accurate.

Thanks fellas, its working now. Apologies for the rant as I had just finished the level on vet without breaking my controller, which let me tell you was damn near a feat within itself, and then this popped up so I was fuming. To make matters worse I forgot to save after getting past the sniper part in the next level and have to repeat it all over again so that should be a blast, lol.

I thought the game auto-saves at every checkpoint?

But yeah, I noted the anger in the text... CoD on Vet is definitely a roller coaster of emotions haha... Hang in there!
