I own both systems but I like my PS3 better.

The PS3 controller is better for fighting games, free online (I didn't renew Xbox Live), Blu Ray, built in wifi, Exclusives I really enjoy (The Show and LBP), system isn't as noisy, able to stream everything on my laptop and external hard drive to my tv through my PS3, no silly point card system for digital content, etc....

The biggest positive of the 360 is the game library. Microsoft is a rich company and they throw their money around to get exclusives/timed exclusives. I hate how noisy my 360 is and how you have to pay for online gaming. It's also a joke how they are adding more ads to the dashboard and Hyrb actually said it was to enhance the user experience, lol.

I have nothing against the 360 I've had one and enjoyed it when it 1st released but other than GOW2,Forza,Splinter Cell,and Alan Wake I have no interest in it.I will eventually get an elite just to play those 4 games but overall I'm satisfied with the PS3.

Heavenly Sword,Uncharted 1 + 2,GT5,KZ2,GOW3,MGS4,LBP,MLB The Show,Twisted Metal(will come soon or later),MAG,Socom,Syphon Filter,Heavy Rain,etc..

Free wifi,internet,and internet browser,blue ray,no batteries on the controllers,bluetooth,etc..

Now at the same price there is no way I could choose a 360 over a PS3.

I haven't tried this because I'm running out of space in my HDD (I think I have less than 3 gigs).

The inability to add your own HD is another knock against the 360. If you want to upgrade, you are forced to pay a silly amount for the Microsoft HD. I hope Microsoft changes this for their next system.

I dont play enough exlcusives to justify having both. Had the 360, sold it, copped the PS3 and went back to the 360 for the Online Community.

RROD is always in the back of my mind though.

Personally, that's also how I feel.

When I was was first trying to pick a current-gen console last year, I wanted the PS3 after seeing my cousin's, but I was going to end up getting my 360 because it was cheaper. After mulling it over some more, I decided that the PS3 was worth the extra money and decided to go for it. I'm glad I did. And at this point, if I was getting into this generation right now and had the choice of either system at the same price, it would be a no-brainer for me.

I have both systems. Started off with the 360 because of price and then ponied up the doe to get a PS3 because of The Show. I have a few games for the PS3 but I hardly ever turn it on other than to play some baseball. The online is horrible imo compared to XBL and since most of my friends are on XBL this makes me favor it more.

I played a lag free game of Madden on my ps3 last night. So I wouldn't say it's horrible.

I have done my share of flip flopping in the past, owning two systems just doesn't make sense for ME. The flow of money just isn't there like it used with kids and this F'ed up economy doesn;t help. Owing both systems is not worth it.


I own the PS3 for Sony exclusives/reliability, and just my preference, I like the PS3 controller I have zero issues with the PSN network, I enjoy it, and it's free.

That's really it in a nutshell.

Personally I don't think it is horrible at all and pretty close.

Biggest difference for me is cross game invites which will be updated next month on the PS3. The other difference is to see what others are doing. For example it is pretty neat to seeing what score it is in a game where two people are playing each other in a league or something.

By no means is PSN horrible. It is very close to xbl minus a few nice trimmings on the live side.

I was always a huge xbox guy. My family and friends started shifting towards PS3 and like mgoblue says, you play online where you know more people on. Plus the unreliability of the 360 started turning me off.

PS3 is a no-brainer for me. Free online and blu ray, very hard to pass up.
