The problem with PS3's exclusives is that the biggest ones have no legs. They are all 8-12 hour romps that can be solved with a rental. When it comes to the really big games, the 360 has bigger and better titles with more staying power.

Mass Effect 1 and 2(huge, huge reasons to buy one system), Gears of War 1 and 2, Halo3 and ODST, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Fable 2 and 3 the GTA episodes...these are all huge, huge games that last longer than a weekend. I understand if they are not your personal preference(I don't own Halo 3 and didn't buy Gears 1 until part 2 came out, don't own L4D), but you have to look at the gaming mainstream if you're talking about a real comparison. Altogether these games would leave big black holes in most people's collections. As a guy who is more into Rainbow 6 type shooters than L4D, Halo and Gears, I'm still picking ODST and L4D up just to play with friends and coworkers.

Even Metal Gear is going M$. The biggest chance for Sony to break even was Final Fantasy, because that game commands the same kind of base as some of the aforementioned games, but once they lost FF13 it was over.

The crazy thing is that PS3 fans are generally RPG fans, and I cry for any RPG fan missing out on the 360 exclusive collection of STELLAR roleplaying games.

Looking at your list Gears, Halo (especially ODST 6-8 hours), Fable are all games that can be completed in 8-12 hours. So its not Sony or MS this generation at fault for short games, blame the developers across the board. If you are counting online for these to give them longevity the same could be said on the PS3 side.

Sony screwed up this gen big time and they will pay for it long time to come.

^ still a matter of opinion though. The reason I have just a ps3? I think the first party games are a lot better. And with trophy support I play through multiple times. Agai. Though its all opinion so who is to truly say one is better than the other?

          Yep.

EL PRESADOR is hilarious!!! The guy is an entertainment machine. You guys shouldn't take him seriously, he just does it to get underneath people's skin.

Love that Dusty Rhodes reference though. His cadence is similar.

I actually see a mix of Scott Hall and Bobby Heenan. The Scott Hall when he goes for the deep voice and the Trey For Life (NWO), and the Heenan when he starts talking fast and making "irrefutable, factual" arguments. He's cutting 5 star promo's on his opponents every time.

Don't know what games you're playing

These are games coming real soon or out

              Demon Soul
              Killzone 2
              Uncharted 1 and 2
              MLB The Show 09
              God Of War 3
              Gran Turismo Prologue+ 5
              Heavenly Sword
              Heavy Rain
              Resistance 1 + 2
Batman AA with Joke-Since you brought up GTA episodes-I don't even play GTA anymore.
              Infamous
              R & C 1 + 2
              Little Big Planet
              Motostorm
              MAG
              Socom
              Valk Chronicles
              Metal Gear Solid 4
              Siren:Blood Curse

Metal Gear will be a totally different game.If you ever played MGS4 you will seen that they actually dissed the 360.

360 is a decent system but if Natal can't save it then you'll see a new xbox soon enough.

What's funny is it took me 30 hours to beat Killzone 2 and only 14 to beat Gears 2 and I stay online with KZ2 more than GOW2.

                  It doesn't, lmao.

No offense, CHAMP, but I think you missed my point. If you're going to compare software and you can't see that 360 has more multiplayer/epic length blockbusters, then I don't know what to tell you.

Can't really base this argument off of personal preference, as you can simply claim not to like what the other company is putting out. 360 is dominating the software war by the millions. Somebody have the exact numbers? I know at one point last year the 360 had a 3 to 1 software edge over the Wii and PS3 combined.

As a gaming system, if you're interested in either going online and shooting it up with your friends, or sitting at home and getting through a nice, long 30+ hour storytelling adventure, the 360 wins by a longshot.

And comparing that Joker add-on to a full length GTA episode is beyond laughable.

I really don't know where to start.

You keep saying MORE blockbusters when the 360 rely's on 3-4 franchises.

Replayablility is PERSONAL PREFERENCE.PS3's exclusives are much more innovative, diverse, detailed, polished, and fun.

Look at Little Big Planet,Heavy Rain,MAG,and Mod Nation Racers.

Like you say PERSONAL PREFERENCE.Most of my friend prefer the PS3,only reason they had 360's was because of price factor.

I'm not talking about subjective replayability. I'm talking about actual game length in single player games, and the availability of online competition in online games. Mass Effect 1 is about 30 hours without exploring multiple paths. Fable 3 is the same. Mass Effect 2 will be the same. And these are blockbusters. Games that easily clear a million copies. In some cases, two million. Even Crackdown is up around 2 million.

In its first week, Resistance 2 sold 400k+ copies. Not bad. Gears 2 sold 2 million. That's what I'm talking about when I say "blockbuster". And yes, how many copies a game sells matters when you're expecting to go online to find competition more than six months down the road.

Like I said, if you personally prefer PS3 games, that's all well and good, but most people in our demographic(males from 18-35) would much rather play L4D than Little Big Planet or Ratchet and Clank.

And please stop bringing up Heavy Rain. It's just embarassing. No one knows if that game will be good or not(I hope it is), how long it will be or how well it will sell. We're talking about proven properties, and a guaranteed level of quality here. HR could easily be a nauseating and confusing 8 hour drop into the uncanny valley.

I prefer the PS3 over 360. It's online isn't as good as the 360 but that is it for me. PS3 does fine for me online since I only play certain games online.

That's all I was getting at. I do think the PS3 has passed the point where it is more than worth owning the system if you like their games or need a Blu Ray player.

You keep bringing up the length of 3 games and 3 games which are RPG's

You should be comparing them games to the likes of Valk Chronicles and Demon Soul.

I don't care how much games sell honestly,If the game is good it's good and 9/10 a big PS3 exclusive delivers.

How is Heavy Rain embarrasing when you're bringing up Mass Effect 2?

Matter of Fact name me the last top notch 360 exclusive! GOW2? Last year?
