What has Sony done with the PS3 or PSP that makes you think they aren't willing to make a boneheaded decision flip flop at any point in time

Are they nuts with the $70 price tag? I guess option #1 is the best with the 3 year warranty if true.

As much as I hate this, if this is to happen, the only way I'll go for it is if they can just take it off my remaining funds in my account. I don't want to have to do it through credit, so I'd rather pay through PSN cards from retail stores.

Either way, I really wish it never came down to this. $70 a year is way too much money.

I still don't mind if they add a premium tier, it gives them added revenue to improve the network, and online play will still be free. However, $70 is ******* insane. Sony has to realize that many people wouldn't even pay the $50 for Live if online play was free for the 360. Sony should at most only charge what MS does for Gold.

It'd even look better to consumers if they charged the same $50/yr that MS does for Gold, since online play is free for PSN.
I agree. I'm ok with a premium tier, but not at $70.

Considering I've paid 300.00 in repairs in the last 3 years on my PS3's the Extended Warranty sounds great!! LOL

Not only is the $70 price point insane, but this chart looks like even at $70, we'll have to choose which premium services we'd like, rather than have all of them. The 3 options all have different premium services included/not included. WTF.

Yeah, this is why I think this chart could be a joke. Now Sony is stupid, but I don't think they are this dumb.

they aren't even considering charging to play online. The link makes that clear. These are just added features to try to get people to subscribe to a model that makes Sony more money.

If there was any right way to do a subscription, this should be it. They offer additional options to enhance your online experience, without forcing you to pay to even get an online experience. I just think the price in the survey is awful, hopefully Sony adjusts that significantly.

I agree that a tiered infrastructure is nice, but these prices are just terrible. I think they will probably get this stuff worked out by then.

Why I think this is BS:

                                1. Why on earth would a $70 plan not have "Token Sharing", while a $40 one does?

                                2. Why would we still not be able to get everything?

My guess is someone is looking to make waves by fooling the internet.
