Re: New Xbox 360
The only downside of the 4gb 360 would be that you can't rip games to your HDD, correct? Or can you do so with the use of Flash Drives?
I'm thinking of trading in my old 360 Core (how much do these fetch at GameStop?) and perhaps also trading in my 20gb HDD ... unless I can't rip games to the new 4gb, in which case I'll just keep the 20gb.Currently Playing:

Re: New Xbox 360
I just learned the hard way that these bastards at MS made the USB port on the back of the new 360's narrow enough that a standard USB stick can't fit all the way in. I got a 16 GB Sandisk and it can't be pushed all the way in to the port. What the hell do I do now? Buy the official MS USB stick?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: New Xbox 360
It's the entire stack of 3 USB ports. They aren't flush with the back of the system, they are indented. But there isn't enough room for the "fat" part of the USB drive to get in there. The indentation is barely wider than the metal part of the USB drive, so the metal part gets about 60% in but then the plastic part hits the indentation and can't go in any further."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

It was really pissing me off with 2K11 lol, didn't have enough memory for POTG replays at the end. Thanks again."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: New Xbox 360
Yeah, I just totally missed those posts, Ehh. Oops!
Glad to hear you got your memory sticks to work. The only reason I'm thinking of picking a new 360 up is b/c my current 360 is a MS factory Refurb after my original red-ringed 3 times and eventually kicked the bucket with the E74 error. If I can scoop up a new 360 for less than $100, that's not a bad deal. Plus, the black system would like nice on my Entertainment Center, as my PS3, PS2 and DirecTV DVR are all black.
Ehh, how much did you pay for the 16gb flash drive? If you use one that isn't sold by MS, do you have to format the drive?Currently Playing:
