It's more expensive but if you got money to blow (like me hehe) go buy the nicer looking matte one with the flash memory, then just go out and buy the 250GB HDD and pop it in there!

    Best of both worlds!

I also have the shiny one as well, thing is it is like my older PS3 (the huge shiny one) in that it leaves too many damn fingerprints on it.

Funny thing is you can go dual matte or dual shiny setup on your 360/PS3 combo setup they make both systems in both styles.

The best looking two are the matte's to me, shiny is awesome but as I said way too many finger smudges.

So your saying that you don't need any wireless router hook-up's as in their last system?

1-The first wireless router for the 360 cost $100.00.
2-The newest wireless adapter cost $125.00.
3-I had mixed reactions on both, plus it was cheaper. So I bought 2 packs of ethernet cable, ran it from my bedroom, downstairs, to the basement, up back through the living room, and the into my dining room, where my computer hook-up was.

***It was cheaper than the 1 and 2 options. I DID HAVE A 360 ON LINE HOOK-UP/MEMBERSHIP. But, My ran out and I had no money to get it renewed! Again something that was way to expensive for me.
So going on 4 years I was a Sivler Member. My White 360 just went poof and quit working.

***But between you and me the The online YEARLY FEES PLUS THE PRICES OF THEIR ROUTERS, ARE TO EXPENSIVE!IMO.

So I hope you can answer my question, Thank you.

The new slim has a built in WIFI router which means you do not need to buy any other external piece to go wireless.

But I do not agree on the xbox live price. For what it offers it is cheap in my opinion.

But that is me. I take full advantage of all the great it offers.

The built in WIFI is better then the one on the PS3

I got the arcade slim too, as the matte finish looks better to me. The 4GB flash memory is a plus, and I got a 250 GB HDD online for less than $50. So I got the best 360 option for less than $299.

I agree that you have the best of both worlds.

The shinny is nicer but the matte is more user friendly since it won't have fingerprints all over it.

I might get another 360 slim with the 4gb for my room and swap out the 250gb hard drive from my shinny one and use that as my main.

Totally agree. Fast speeds and I haven't had any lag other than, I think it was NCAA07 ,and I think that was a game issue.

My original 360 got RRoD. Wanting to pick up a 4gb slim, but BB is out of them everywhere in my area. The only they have is bundled with the kinect for $100 more.

How hard would it be to sell the kinect on it's own? Do all the proper accessories come with it? I am tired of waiting and might just pick up the bundle and sell the kinect. I figured I could at least get the $100 back since it's $150 on its own.

For $100 you should have no problem especially on Ebay/Craigslist. Good luck

I finally went ahead and bought the new S Xbox360 250 GB. I have a quick question for my Surround Sound. the old 360 came with Hi Def Composite Cables but the new S only has the basic cables. Can I use my old 360 Hi Def AV Cables with the new 360? Upstairs I have HDMI but downstairs I want to have it also plugged into my Speaker System.

Yes, you can. Exact same port. I'm doing it with my current setup.

For me only 1. I just recently tried my Halo Reach xbox again and it turns out I found out the reason I couldn't switch hard drives, the halo reach xbox is bad. It won't detect anything at all. I got to call Microsoft and see if they can do anything about it but I have a feeling I am **** out of luck and will have to pay something.
