The sticks are a little different, too. On the old ones there were four raised buttons (very small) on the sticks and the new controller has more of an elevated circle on the top of the sticks.
It does look really cool. I'm not in a rush to get a new 360 yet as my latest one is working just fine (knocking on wood), but if I do have to get a black 360 in the future, this new controller will look very nice next to it.Currently Playing:

Yeah, I just got one over the weekend and the only difference, I think, is that the new controllers come with a rechargable pack and a USB cord that you can plug into the 360 for charging instead of using individual batteries.

Re: New Xbox 360
This might be a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway!
If I buy a new XBox 4 GB right now and then down the road upgrade it with the 250 GB HDD will it then be the same exact model as the XBox 360 that comes with the 250 GB in the box? So I wont have any problems with NBA2K postgame or anything like that?
Just only can find the 4 GB right now and rather spend the 199 now instead of the 299.Comment

Re: New Xbox 360
You're correct on the matte finish, but there actually isn't even any swapping to do. That 4gb is flash memory, so there is simply an empty spot in the system for the 250gb HD to go once he buys one.Comment
