    Re: Playstation Move

I went to Best Buy to pick up Office Space (BD) and noticed that they had a an HDTV display with the Move and a demo of Sports Champions, which I thought was pretty neat. I picked it up and was excited to get it going, but once I started playing Table Tennis I was kind of... ehh... reminded me why I never liked the Wii. I'm just not into motion control. Even though the one-to-one movement is awesome, unless it's 3D and the ball is actually coming to my wand that I have in my hand, I can't quite dig the coordination like I should be.

The ones which may differ are the shooters, but I can't justify paying $80 here.

Not going to lie, the idea of playing a FPS with that gun peripheral for Move like in the new PS3 commercial intrigues me.

I believe it was this thing:

Question for the guys who already have move.............

How does the PS eye connect to the PS3 ???

Is it wireless (blue tooth) ???

          Is it usb ???

If it usb, the new slims dont have a usb port on the back of the system......so the wire for the eye can't be hidden....that would suck.

Gold is a bitch trying to keep the ball on the table, there is absolutely no waggling on this game its straight up and play, wrist flicks do not work. The cpu players are hard only 2 players into gold cup and it is hard as hell.

I'm now starting to win more than I lose on silver difficulty....so I went to Gold difficulty and it's haaaaard, and the workout is 3 times as strenous. I had similar difficulty when I first moved up to silver diff, so I'm sure I'll make adjustments and be more competitive on gold, but it might take a lot longer haha.

Seriously a sleeper hit imo, you really need to play AT LEAST silver to see the game's goodness. the lowest diff is basically a practice session where the cpu returns back lobs every other hit they make.

THanks for the answer.........yeah that does suck. You would think for the newer models of PS3's they would put a usb port in the back for the camera with move being released ???

                Oh well....just an observation.

I agree they need a USB port or two in the back.

If you already have the camera all you need is the move controller. The nav controller right now is of no use.

                      Re: Playstation Move

The only real thing I will have a problem with is I'm assuming you can only aim on as much as the TV screen, meaning your reticle gets to go from corner to corner. While that's all good and dandy, that would then mean that turning your on-screen character is a different control then actually turning your body/moving your gun around. Then there must be another control to strafe your player as well.

I think this looks great, but its design probably best fits in a VR atmostphere.

I was under the impression the reticle is what turned you(or I should say was one of the things that turned you as you can still probably turn via seperate control).. so once you aimed off screen the view rotated...

I was thinking maybe this happened, but does that mean the reticle stayed centered or at least moved toward the end of the screen? Because if it stays centered, you turning means that your gun is no longer pointed to the center (where the reticle is), so aiming would feel... kind of strange. Plus, it's based on your Eye, not the TV. So unless there's calibration to ensure that you're aiming exactly to that point on the screen, the targeting may feel "off" in a way, especially if you want to aim down the sights.

I don't know if I worded that properly, but I could make a visual demonstration if what I said didn't make sense.

That's the way it works on the Wii with FPS games.

I've got a few questions about the Move, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
                                1. Is it worth 100 dollars right now, or should I wait and see what Kinect brings to the table?
                                2. What are a few of the games that currently support the move?
                                3. Does the Move work well with these games?
                                4. Would I need to buy a second controller?
                                5. Most importantly to me, how well does the controller work with Tiger Woods? This is the main reason why I want to get it.

                                Thanks for any input.
