I'm excited that there is no UMD. Sony made a mistake with the PSP-GO, splitting your userbase is never a good idea. So they created a new one this time, perfect.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Guys, I have something very positive to day one again about the vita, I own all 3 systems and again after Madden 13, ncaa 13, and nhl 13, and the mlb the show, and as u can see I'm primary a sports gamer, I keep coming back the crap out of my Vita, I really live this little bundle of pour gamer heaven.. I play Madden more on the vita then I do on the xbox, and honestly like it more, in play the show more on the vita as well.............................................. ........................................ Most of my gaming has come on the vita.. It's like the vita is my system of choice lately, and it's scary.. U don't don't mean that in a bad way either, I just totally enjoy gaming more on the Vita then anything at this point. Maddens first attempt on the vita has impressed me thus far, as many other games have.. Can't wait for call of duty, and some other games that have been announced.. Just hope vita gets ncaa and nhl and nba 2k next year and I will be the most happiest.. Again sing on the vita upnto this point has be very impressive imo.. Hope it just gets the support it truly deserves. Anyone else feel the way I do thus far?

FIFA was another great first effort and I'm really excited for 13 with the physics and sliders (desperately needed for the Vita version).
Uncharted was cool, the Metal Gear HD Collection looks amazing and Gravity Rush is outstanding.
Oh, I forgot HSG, too.
Honestly, my only complaint is the battery life is so short. Other than that, the Vita is awesome. I can tweet, surf the web and watch Netflix or videos on YouTube. So much better than lugging all of those UMD's around.Currently Playing:

I agree with you. I'm very happy with my Vita purchase. I play a ton of MLB 12 The Show on it, and I can see Madden 13 getting more run on my Vita than my 360.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
i work 7-6 every day. that means i leave my house around 6:30 and get home around 6:45. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
I have a 2 year old and a 6 year old, and when i get home, i spend time with them and get them into bed. then of course my wife wants to talk my ear off for an hour. so my console time is SEVERELY LIMITED. and when i do get time, i'm usually exhausted. so for me, this thing is AWESOME. it's not a full ps3 experience, the graphics aren't exactly the same, and some of the games have framerate problems.
But I couldn't care less. it's 85% of a console experience that i play on my lunch hour, on coffee breaks, and in bed while my wife watches a show where someone destroys and remodels another $700,000 home. i couldn't be happier with this thing!Last edited by Skyboxer; 09-13-2012, 05:06 PM.Joshua:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I'm a 37 yr. old married man with kids. I never admit (outside of these forums) or proclaim to have/enjoy a handheld video game system. It never leaves my house and rarely ever leaves my room. It's my guilty pleasure!Last edited by RunN1st; 09-13-2012, 10:56 PM."The older I get, the faster I was!"

Haha!! Exact same here. Although for me, I always have it with me wherever I go.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I'm surprised we haven't seen any PS3 games that allow you to use the Vita for minigames or puzzles. Using the Vita to heal a teammate, draw up plays, manage inventory, sniper scopes, RC vehicles ect ect.
The Vita could be used to complement already existing games. It would be cool to play a PS3 game from one perspective and have the Vita game effect the story somehow.
The possibilities are endless for this thing and I hope developers start to utilize it.Comment

Gonna be pretty sweet when they do start coming out.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
For those who missed it, LittleBigPlanet Vita is now available, at least at Gamestop. Whether they broke street or the date was entirely lifted is something I'm not 100% sure of, but what I am sure of is that I've got the game in hand right now.
Not sure if other retailers have it yet.Comment
