    Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

Man im so glad i didnt go out and buy that game because I would've been hot

I think this online stuff is getting too far out of hand

Go ahead and make your little game online only then if youre going to keep gimping SP like its some kind of a side bar

These devs get on my nerves with this crap... Its not even worth a discount buy at this point

Eh, that's alright for me. I'd love it to be significantly longer, but I think I'd replay the main story over and over if I wanted to. That's what we used to do for SNES games, right?

My main concern for this title will be online play.

We would have heard WAY more about that if it were true. I'll just see for myself.

I got a 32 gb. There should be a 64 gb card in this day and age.

                  Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

Had time to briefly check it out. This campaign is clearly made to be played through multiple times. Each stage is set up with three separate difficulties, and you play through earning XP based on how you do and the difficulty you play on. Calling this a one hour campaign is a joke. For a high profile journalist to throw that out on twitter just furthers the truth that 95% of these game "reviewers" are an embarrassment to their profession.

I could play through ANY game campaign on the easiest level without completing ANY side objectives and say that it only took me a fraction of the intended time. Hell, even a simple iPhone title like Angry Birds can be a 30 minute playthrough or a multiple hour playthrough depending on how many stars you try to earn per stage. This is a console style handheld experience, much the way Unit 13 was set up. Plus, there are two other single player modes outside of the campaign.

One hour campaign... lol. Another reminder why game reviews are about as reliable as a gf in college these days.

                      Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

I guess Sony's master plan has worked:

                      PS Vita PN+

-Included in the price of the PS3 PS+ at no additional cost.
-PS+ Vita content will be posted on the PS3 Store too (so it's also available for PS3 users who still don't have a Vita).
-1GB of cloud save storage, that will be added to the PS3 1GB storage.
-PS+ cloud saves will let you transfer game saves from retail carts to the PSN version.
-Like in PS3, 'purchase' free games while available in the store and download or play them until you keep renewing the subscription. However, if you decide to re-activate your membership, you will once again be able to play all games downloaded from the Instant Game Collection.
-Special discounts (-20% for the first offers) to purchase games that won't expire with your subscription.
-First month free games : Uncharted GA, Gravity Rush, Mutant Blobs Attack!!! worldwide, in addition to Wipeout 2048, Jet Set Radio HD and Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions.
                      -Automatic software updates.
                      -Automatic trophy sync.
-PS+ Vita content will be limited through DRM to 2 consoles and 2 handhelds per account.

                      Vita firmware v2.00

                      -PS+ Support.
-Email app (Gmail, Yahoo!, other IMAP/POP3).
                      -1080p video playback.
                      -Video now supports closed captioning.
-Content manager with PS3/PC now using wi-fi too.
-New web browser with upgraded HTML5/Javascript support and optimized both CPU processing and graphic rendering.

Sony Bend Working on New Vita Title

Gamasutra has a job listing for a senior staff technical animator at Sony Bend (as Tweeted to us by IGN reader NKilburne), and the job description gives away that Bend is toiling away on a new Vita game.

“Bend Studio, the creators of Sony’s flagship Vita title Uncharted: Golden Abyss is currently looking for the entertainment industries top artistic talent to help us create AAA content for Sony’s powerful new hardware,” the listing reads. “We just scratched the surface on what the Vita can do with Uncharted: Golden Abyss and expect to push the platform even further with our future projects.”
Bend has been rumored to have been working on a new Syphon Filter game since 2009; the rumor most recently reared its head right before Vita’s western launch. However, the project has yet to materialize. Could this new Vita game be the much-anticipated return of the Syphon Filter franchise? Could it be a new Uncharted game? Or is it something else entirely?
