Did I just make up that release date on my own? I bet I did...
I can't find a concrete date, other than it was delayed to September for release.

Where's my OS crew at with Killzone: Mercenary?

I love this game, I really do... but man, these 25 minute matches, while epic, are very unreliable when it comes to staying connected the entire time. If you lose the connection, you don't get anything you had gained.

I've played maybe eleven times and have only been successful completing a game twice. I can blame my wi-fi strength a little bit since the router is downstairs and I'm downstairs, but even still...

EDIT: Well, now I'm about ready to throw my Vita. I was on like a 40-8 round and was succeeding in all of the objectives with flying colors. I went up two rankings in that round. There were 20 seconds left, then I was kicked from the game due to connection.

I'm four feet away from my router.

SECOND EDIT: This game says I've played 19 minutes online. I've played maybe three hours online. This really is frustrating for such a fantastic game.

Really a bummer reading this and I've seen other forums where people are having this issue. I've played probably around two hours online so far and have not had one disconnect. Don't know, possibly having something to do with peoples' routers but Sony really needs to do some optimization to the online portion as there seems to be many having the issue. Not sure why I'm not or maybe I just haven't played long enough.

At any rate I'm really enjoying the game.

I always seem to have intermittent connection issues. Sometimes things work great for weeks at a time. I always felt I had a router problem. I always purchased cheap wireless routers, went through a few of them over the years. So one day I am like screw it why are some consumer routers $200.00 plus bucks vs some $40.00. Sure you get more capabilities with the more expensive ones but I would not be taking advantage of them anyways. So I purchase a $200.00 Asus router get it up in running and have never had an issue with drops. I am not saying buy a more expensive router, but I wish I would have bought one years ago. My kids even noticed a difference, they always had slow and dropped connections upstairs, but not anymore.

Thanks. We just got a brand new router though. Don't know the price, but I know the strength compared to my other one, and it's fabulous.

And I never get a drop with anything else, game or what have you. It's just that once this game notices the slightest hint of instability or whatever, it kicks you.

Same issues I had with kz2. Which is why the platinum is so rare. The team objective matches were just too long and a lot of the time the connection would drop.

Yeah, but I just noticed that the single player campaign ties in directly with your multiplayer account, so it's kind of cool that I can get weapons that way too.

Briefly want to chime in and mention Real Boxing is surprisingly decent and worth the price.

Question about MLB 13 the Show on the Vita. Are the graphics comparable to this year's ps3 version? Or does it look more like earlier copies? If you know what I mean.

It has pros and cons. Does it compare to the ps3 version, graphics wise? No. But does it offer the most incredibly realistic gameplay for a handheld baseball game? Yes.

Let me not dis the graphics though. They are awesome. Just not the level of its older brother.

So does it look more like earlier versions of The Show for PS3. For ex.. MLB 10-11. Or is it more PS2.5. If you understand what I'm talking about.

And the last question does it compare favorably to console version's as far as difficulty goes?

Thanks.. I've been on the fence about buying this for the Vita, and buying a Vita for months now.

Textures are PS2-like but render PS3-like, if that makes sense. Or maybe the other way around heh.

Difficulty matches up pretty much the same, but I find myself lowering pitch speed (mostly because I can't use my custom camera that I like so much on the PS3 version) and solid contact seems a bit more polarizing (a bit more black-and-white, less gray) given a large enough sample size. The rest of the game is fairly identical to its PS3 counterpart in terms of gameplay.
