Todays tourneys were a bit of a step up in difficulty - long tee kagurayama is basically an intermediate level course.

I still need to do the 18 hole one tonight when I get back from work, fortunately the day doesn't flip until 2AM central.

I'm still on the starter characters, so I guess I'm at a bit of a disadvantage. Finished -1 on long tee kagurayama (like 600 of 1100 people) and even on the first tournament. Haven't had a chance to do the 18 hole one yet.

Just be sure to put OS in the message or I'll ignore it.

Played a bit with the system and I do like it but not quite "blown away" with it. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the fact that I used my psp for everything you could without hacking it. Remote play, movies, on- the- go playing, etc...

The one thing however, as Jason already figured out is, portable trophies has me sucked in!

I'll be hittin up some hsg tourneys tomorrow so watch out. I'm a hsg old- school pro!

Well I'm not one to brag... at all...

So it's pretty good that I totally sucked in todays rounds.

Who am I kidding... I haven't done well most of all the days.

I finished 204th today in the 18 hole round. That is my best so far.

                thanks guys.
I never get these, but that's because I never buy anything portable.

That said, I reckon that this could get damaged any which way as long as I am carrying it around, and I am not willing to take that risk with this baby, so I ended up getting the 2-year Accidental Damage one. Plus, that allows me to be more "reckless" with it at the same time (that is, pocket it more without a case and stuff when convenient). Plus it's also my first touchscreen device, let alone an open-screen device, because all of my phones in the past have been flip phones. If it gets scratched or cracked, I have a way to replace it now.

The decision to go two years was simple: one year is normally too short for something to "break" in, and three years was too expensive to cover the cost difference of getting a new Vita (which would drop in price by then), especially if you never have to replace it. Plus, I think we'd be looking at our PS4 consoles at that point or a new gen Vita if absolutely necessary.

Finally, I am kind of getting $20 off the purchase when all is said and done with the triple points being offered from Best Buy's Reward Zone program.

Is anyone playing Wipeout? I'm not a racing game guy, but I figured I'll give wipeout and ModNation a try while I wait for the Show release. And WOW. Wipeout is simply amazing. I still am not a racing guy, I don't like MN, but Wipeout is more than a racing game. I'm not very good at it (yet!), but it's really addictive, and the graphics and gameplay are amazing on any console, but there's something even better about it on a handheld IMO. There's not been much talk about this game here, just curious if I was the only one blown away by it.

I was blown away by it as well (after playing the demo at Gamestop), but I haven't bought it yet. I was considering buying it earlier today, but then I contained myself and played some more SSD. I want to see if I can hold off till The Show. It's going to be so tough haha.

I'd get this game at ModNation's price in a heartbeat, but I have it for PS3 so I'm not jumping the gun as quickly as I would if I didn't already.

Just bought a bluetooth headset and there is about a one second lag on every game that I've tried and it doesn't happen on my iPhone. Anyone else have any trouble with bluetooth?

I really don't like the placement of the headphone jack and thought wireless would be awesome.

I don't know exactly why that is. I think it's just because I realized I wouldn't have that much time for this, I don't need a portable system, and there are no games that truly jump out to me as of right now (a PSV GTA would change all of that in a heartbeat).
I am the exact same way. I want one badly, but the only games I would get, I have their predecessors on the PSP. If I was still with my gf and spending alot of time with her, it may be different, but I have no real need for portable gaming. Waiting for a must have game or two (The Show is not going to do it) or a killer bundle deal.
