However, EA did clean up some things about the game that was very nice to see and made the game a little more challenging to me.
First, there were occasions where Fifa soccer would stutter or have the occasional frame rate drop. 13 runs extremely smooth and I was very happy to see that
Seconnd, the AI is more creative on the attack and plays better on offense than they did last year. I am playing on Pro and was testing the game win Man U (Me) vs Southampton (CPU). I lost 2-4 on pro difficulty. They had a couple wonderful volleys and even won possession throughout the match. It is certainly more of a challenge to me this year.
The physics also seem a little tweaked. Shots seem to have a little less float on them and I really dig that.
Those are my early impressions for now. The stormtrooper has to charge back up now. :-(YNWAComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I really want to see EA make a go of it with NCAA Football, though. The possibility of cross-platform saves (Madden needs this too) with football dynasties/franchises would be a huge selling point.Currently Playing:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
After playing (A LOT) of NFS: Most Wanted, which I HIGHLY recommend, I'm definitely ready for a Gran Turismo on this thing.
NFS has been perfect for a quick pick up on the go style game - get a few races in, find some cars, try and beat some friends Speed Wall times, etc.
LOVE IT!
Easily a 9.5/10 for me.Last edited by 42; 11-20-2012, 05:16 PM.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I kinda hope cross platform becomes the next big thing in this industry. It's an oversimplified example, but it's stupid that Words with Friends is the only game I play that I can do so on multiple handhelds/platforms (phones, tablets, PC).
Perhaps with steaming solutions all over the place something like that can happen (which still wouldn't quite be the same thing, but I'd take it), but with the major console providers it will still probably only be within their ecosystems.
The PS3 -> Vita thing is a good first step, if they could spread that to some degree to their mobile platform, and really nail it with their first party titles, maybe others would follow suit.
If there was some way to reconcile the differences in the platforms to allow for head to head, it seems reasonable to want to be able to play in a Madden CCM with your Vita/360/PS3/WiiU friends. If only the publishers could find ways to make that happen.
As for NCAA Football, think licensing is going to be the big unknown as to why that may not happen, depending on how lawsuits end up going. We already know EA has to give up their exclusive, but there's the lawsuit about player likenesses still out there. If it's found they have to be paid or something there's a lot that has to be figured out before anyone could move forward and the costs involved could prohibit a college football game from being ever made again.Comment

Agreed...first game on the Vita that I have played that requires me to plug in my Vita to keep it from dying. May pick up the battery pack and Assassins Creed for the Vita over Xmas.PSN: ckarlic

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
For those interested, be aware that Persona 4 does start VERY slow, and for the first hour and change you'll be watching a lot of dialogue. It's a long game (I've heard 70+ hours and I know P3 lasted me 90), so a good introduction to the town you'll be in and the main characters is pretty important. The main plot will kick in during this time though, and it helps pull through the rest of the exposition. I expect I'll be hitting the "normal" part of the game at around the 1 1/2 - 2 hour mark (would be faster if I was skipping dialogue).Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So I spent time during my lunch break at school today to try out the new updated browser app. Man, what a difference.
So much faster and easier to use. I could load up OS in a matter of seconds. Amazing update.
Now I must hold off on buying Battle Royale....Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo
